The government and ACLU made the schools stop prayer and drastically minimize any mention of God or religion starting in the 1950s. Then the schools stopped using the paddle as punishment and then not even a ruler across the back of the hand. Most boys grew up with BB guns, sling shots, and bows and arrows. Boys were taught to keep a stiff upper lip no matter what while girls with scraped knees and hurt feelings knew that if they cried they'd be called a little baby.

Then the anti-military philosophy of the 1960s took hold and parents were shamed against buying any kind of military toy, even GI Joes!

Now we have school shootings, our schools have all the features of prisons, students can't read/think/spell, and our kids are SJW snowflakes. This is progress?!?!
