There is a long story behind this "Destiny Stone".
It is actually a large maroon colored stone. Not the stone that is shown now in the Crown's Chair.
It was stolen by the Scots long ago and England hasn't recovered it.
Queen Elizabeth II was said to be quite distraught that the true stone was not in the chair for her coronation.
