Watching the bodycam footage of that missing girl case…the length of the traffic stop and extensive police interaction seems very unusual. The Park Ranger sounds like a marriage counselor.
Now it's reminding me of the movie, 'Breakdown' with Kurt Russell, about a human trafficking/kidnapping ring, protected by police, operating in an desert area. Just looked it up, and some scenes were filmed in Moab. Another one of those strange coincidence, I guess.
There does seem to be a reoccurring theme: woman goes missing/turns up dead, oddities pile up, and the media highlights a person who is then quickly convicted in the public eye.
Now there is suddenly a mob of people outside the boyfriend's house, chanting "where is Gabby?".
