Depending upon how old the detectors are, could be a "time to replace" chirp. Most smoke detectors have a 10 year life span, most are now hardwired to one another; one goes off they all go off, so could be as simple as needing to replace the ones you have. Plug in CO detectors are designed the same, they will flash a code and make sound notifying it's time to replace them.
