>I worked for a company like that as a teen for 3 hrs. They wanted me to put on a fake southern accent because we were supposed to be based in the south (not mn). I refused and quit. It was all a scam… they were supposed to be entered into a sweepstakes even if they didn’t sign up for a mag sub, but we were instructed not to even take down their info, again, lying.

>Ps my southern accent is no good. Kek

Just report them and be specific with exact times they call. When I did that they dwindled down quite a bit it took a little time but instead of engaging them I’d rather use that time reporting

What’s fun is pretending like they say something else

example:

Apu: “Hello I am calling you about home owners insurance policy”

Me: “No thanks I already have a cable subscription”

Apu: “No, let me explain, I am calling about your home owners insurance policy”

Me: “What do you mean my car insurance policy? Is something wrong with my car??”

That really pisses them off when you play dumb and make them repeat themselves over and over
