i highly recommend the Frank Zappa biography

My fav part is where he says we played music that and I'm paraphrasing that makes you uncomfortable to the point where you question all things about you and your taste in music. It's at that point where you just might be motivated to make meaningful changes in the world. It reminded me of where we are right now.

Interdasting question. I suppose that would be dealt with depending on your beliefs either through karma or the afterlife. But artists frequently experience life in it's sometimes most shady conditions in order to bring betterment to others through their work. my 2 cents
