This anon's daughter is single mother with 3 kids in 3 different schools last year. She works full time in a different county in Texas than they live. Hour drive to work each day. Getting laptops from the schools was an issue. Juggling emails from 12 different teachers was an issue. I was there visiting for a week and it was ridiculous. Worst year of their "education"
and to top it off, she is an OT n a residential facility working the COVID patients and dealing with those stresses and losses. yeah it just sucked
this year in person and one graduated so only 2 schools, better
yeah. grandson graduated in 2020 as well, managed a ceremony but a class member drowned at the beach in Corpus Christi 2 weeks before graduation. hit the kids hard. 2020 just never seemed to end
yeah the masks. they are still masking, in 95 degree weather. watching grandaughter do sports with mask was hard. so over it all
