Thisanon would be somewhat ok if that’s all that happened. However, experiencing a growing frequency of interactions, especially acute and problematic on job sites… a curious tendency to nod enthusiastically and declare understanding… then proceed to do exactly opposite and say that’s how i told them to do it.
It’s a version of gaslighting (intentional or not) which really eats into self doubting. Considering mute munkness might be a workable solution in the near to long term.

The National Park Service and Forestry Department BLM/Interior have seriously fucked u the woods.
After harvesting an area, traditional (and responsible) loggers interested in being able to ‘harvest’ again someday, even if by their grand and great grand children, KNEW that understory and dead fall would have to be collected and cleaned until the overstory (treetops) could re-establish. The Interior Department has caused greater havoc with old logging methiods and actively prevented revisitation and prior scheduled maintenance of already-logged areas, by simply reclassifying them ‘protected oldgrowth’.
Historically, a healthy forest will have an average 100 to 200 tons of deadfall per acre. By The Interior playing games with numbers and actual history… the average prior clearing, now poorly maintained, has over 500 tons per acre. A total fucking tinderbox at the base of all these beautiful trees. Now both the deadfall AND the standing timber goes up in flames and none if it can be useful.
