The actual learning is minimal.

And taxpayers pay for all of it.
The taxpayers are paying to have their kids brainwashed at the Government Public Schools.
I just can't understand why people keep sending their kids to the Government Socialist Public Schools, when there are so many other options.
There are so many options for Homeschoolers.
The first year that I homeshooled my son, I got a boxed 4th grade curriculum for about $300.
The next year we homeschooled for about half that amount because I found better, cheaper curriculum available.
There are so many resource out there.
And you don't need any permission or association with The Public School System.
My suggestion to all Homeschoolers is to become a member of the HSLDA. (Home School Legal Defense Assoc.) They put Public Schools in their place. Public Schools have policies that they will try to convince people are laws. Public Schools are bullies.

I got a copy of a Cliffs Notes
Looked at the back page and there was a list of all of the books that have Cliffs Notes.
I used that list as a reading list.

I homeschooled my son.
My mom worked 4 days a week, she was off on Thursdays. I often faked sick on Thursdays just so I could stay home with her.
socialization is overrated.
There is good socialization and bad socialization.
Parents should know ALL of the kids that their own kids are hanging out with.
GET YOUR KIDS OUT OF THE SOCIALIST PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM
It is not the government's responsibility to educate your child.
It is possible when people put their children ahead of themselves.
Don't complain about the government and then send your kids to their schools.
It's like someone being antiabortion and then going ahead and getting an abortion.
