The Cumbre Vieja volcano was quiet all day, just has the cooling lava stream, the end/sides of which would have hot spots where solidified lava would break off and molten lava would come out. Then, an hour or so ago an eruption broke out. It's spewing new underground molten lava into the air. Not as big as last night but just started.
