A pure Libertarian might say "These people hit the damn jobs loterry and should feel lucky that Amazon decided to locate there!"
I might have been the one making that argument in 1984, but now that I've seen the world turn into Orwell's 1984, not so much. The "Global Economy" can look good on paper, but it's demonstrably a gigantic failure to most people living in average-town America and comparing, say the 1950's, to now. Ross Perot was right about NAFTA.
