CDC: Afghans Arriving in U.S. Infected with Measles, Malaria, Tuberculosis

President Joe Biden’s administration is bringing Afghans to the United States who are carrying viruses such as measles, malaria, tuberculosis, as well as the Chinese coronavirus, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

On Monday, the CDC announced that the thousands of Afghans continuing to be brought to the U.S. by the Biden administration for permanent resettlement will be required to be vaccinated against measles though there has not been any indication that they are likewise mandated to take the coronavirus vaccine.

CDC officials wrote in a release:

As of September 20, 2021, CDC has been notified by public health departments of 16 measles cases among the evacuees. All patients confirmed to have measles have been isolated and provided care, and their contacts have been quarantined. Contacts who were not immune were given the MMR vaccine or, if not vaccine-eligible, immunoglobulin. [Emphasis added]

Evacuees who are in the United States are required to be vaccinated with MMR and complete a 21-day quarantine from the time of vaccination at U.S. ‘Safe Haven’ designated locations, such as military bases. [Emphasis added]

The move comes as there have been measles outbreaks at a number of U.S. military bases where the Biden administration is temporarily housing tens of thousands of Afghans. The military bases where Afghans are staying include:

Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Virginia

Fort Pickett in Virginia

Fort Lee in Virginia

Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico

Fort McCoy in Wisconsin

Fort Bliss in Texas

Fort Dix in New Jersey

Camp Atterbury in Indiana

In addition to measles, CDC officials revealed that some Afghans brought to the U.S. have spurred outbreaks of viruses such as varicella, mumps, tuberculosis, malaria, leishmaniasis, hepatitis A, and coronavirus.

Thousands of Afghans who remain at overseas military bases will be required to take a measles vaccine and wait 21 days before being brought to the U.S. by the Biden administration.

As Breitbart News has chronicled, the Biden administration is planning to permanently resettle Afghans in 46 states across the nation — including Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

Biden has said he hopes to resettle about 95,000 Afghans across the U.S. over the next 12 months. In a 21-day period from August to September, Biden brought more than 48,000 Afghans to the U.S. for resettlement — a population more than four times that of Jackson, Wyoming.

The resettlement operation is being bankrolled by not only American taxpayer money funneled through a number of refugee contractors but also multinational corporations and a non-governmental organizations (NGO) backed by former Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama.

Omar: ‘We Owe Haitians’ Asylum — ‘Obviously Systemic Racism at Play’

Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) said Monday on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” that the United States contributed to the problems in Haiti.

Therefore, she argued we “owe” Haitians the right to seek asylum as thousands gather at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Omar said, “What we have seen was cruel, inhuman, and violation of domestic laws and international laws, the right to seek asylum is an international right. I know this because I would not be here today if I wasn’t able to seek asylum in the border of neighboring country Kenya. To see this kind of atrocious, disturbing images at our border should really make every single American’s skin crawl.”

She continued, “I heard people say many of the Haitians that are at our border might not have grounds to seek asylum. These are people that have experienced a national disaster, which allows for people who experience that to seek asylum. They’ve also experienced political violence, political upheaval. They have experienced a crisis after crisis. We have also contributed to that. Generations of Haitians have experienced American policy that has contributed to their starvation, to the criminalization that they are dealing with, and to the inhumane policies that continue to destroy the lives of Haitians. So not only do we owe Haitians the right thing of allowing them to seek asylum here, but we also owe them the kind of policies that would allow for them to dictate the ways in which they want to run their country.”

Omar said, “When it comes to our immigration policy for so many years, cruelty has been very much embedded in it. There is obviously systemic racism at play here. We’ve seen people come to the border, and the fact we’re dealing with mainly Black migrants and Black immigrants and asylum seekers at our border in this kind of way, really speaks to the kind of racism, systemic racism that is embedded in that department and all the departments that deal with our immigration policy.”

Large Group of BLM Activists Protest NYC Vaccine Mandate; Chant “Cancel Carmine’s” After Brawl at Popular Restaurant Over Vax Card

The rushed vaccines have caused a massive divide within the United States, primarily along political lines, but recent revelations are proving that it goes even deeper than right or left.

Two key groups that Democrats rely on to win elections – Black (43%) and Hispanic Americans (48%) – are the least likely of any racial demographic to be vaccinated, and that’s not likely to change anytime soon.

Now that someone as influential as Nicki Minaj has spoken out, and the draconian vaccine mandates in cities like NYC have disproportionately affected minorities, more people are choosing to think for themselves – that’s a yuuuuuuuge problem for the leftist establishment.

Even the most radical BLM thugs have begun clapping back over the tyrannical dictates of their progressive leaders.

Last week, a wild brawl broke out at a well-known Italian restaurant in the Upper West Side of New York City after three black women were asked to provide proof of vaccination to be able to eat. Video of the incident at Carmine’s went viral – it was the first assault on record that was carried out as a direct result of New York’s vaccine pass.

The incident sparked massive backlash and led to a large group of BLM activists gathering at the restaurant on Monday. The furious crowd blocked the street in front of the building, and used a bullhorn to chant, “Cancel Carmine’s.”

According to the protesters, the vax pass is just an “excuse” that allows white supremacists to be racists.

Leeroy Johnson, an independent journalist, was on the scene and captured the “chaos” on video:

Johnson interviewed the protest’s organizer Hawk Newsome – The founder of the BLM chapter of Greater NY – who explained how he deeply believes that the vaccine is “a choice,” saying that ‘nobody should be excluded from everyday activities’ just because they decide not to take the experimental jab.

He also opined that black Americans have “every reason to doubt” the sCiEnCe, because it has changed repeatedly since Trump left office.

“The vaccines have had effects that people come out and say ‘oh that never happened,’ but they do happen.

We as black people have every reason not to trust the vaccines. I’m not telling you not to get it, im just saying you should have a choice.”

Melbourne 'freedom' protest: Chaos erupts in CBD streets over construction sector shutdown

Violent scenes are unfolding in Melbourne for the second consecutive day as thousands of enraged protesters march through the city's CBD.

Since the protest kicked off at 10am on Elizabeth Street near the headquarters of the Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU) - the scene of yesterday's violent clashes - the crowd has swelled to thousands and has been met by a heavy police presence.

Protesters have marched through the CBD, passing the state parliament and Flinders Street Station before turning back towards the CFMEU building. Some members of the crowd could be heard shouting "freedom" and "f*** the jab".

As the situation grew more chaotic around 1pm, footage emerged of protesters pelting police with projectiles, including glass bottles and flares. Some members of the crowd approached with their hands up, chanting: "You serve us."

Riot police responded by deploying tear gas and firing rubber bullets.

There was a particularly ugly incident at one point as some demonstrators accosted Channel 7 reporter Paul Dowsley.

"We were standing on a seat trying to get an elevated view as the protest group walked past. A few in that crowd had it in for mainstream media," Dowsley recounted on air a short time after the attack.

"A man came from the side, grabbed me around the neck, and others then joined in a scuffle. I'm not sure whether they were maybe trying to protect me, or join in and maybe have a go at me. I'm not sure.

"But the outcome of that was us both, my cameraman colleague here and me, now being covered in what I believe is urine. I believe this has been thrown in my mouth, it's all over me.

"A couple of protesters, I will note, in the minutes after stopped and came back to me, and said, 'I hope you're OK, that is not what we're about, it should not have happened.' They were absolutely appalled by it. As am I."

In a second incident a short time later, Dowsley was forced to cut short a live cross after being struck in the back of the head by a can.
