So, wife anon (doc) had two patients last week that checked all the boxes for C19. No taste, no smell, low grade fever, etc. but tested negative on the rapid. Still, per hospital recommendation, they are to assume positive due to those symptoms and retest the next day. But what showed up on the full upper respiratory panel was rhino enterovirus. So……. it got me thinking…. how many of these “cases” are you seeing being masked with a mutated standard head cold?
