No shit. Walt Disney was a good guy, but he had a dark tragic past. Rumors plagued his Imagination Stationeers. It's a long story but I ran into a page a while back (got 404'ed) that talked about the FBI files they had on him. Back in the 50's the FBI was supposedly looking for communists among us, makes sense now that they were targeting big business philanthropists of the time for subversion, but like you say, he was a 33rd Level Masonic Grand Master. He even incorporated masonic colors and numbers all over Magic Kingdom and movies. The FBI had a file on him. In the file was his past…..
Another fucked up child hood being raised in a farm where the food wasn't growing and the money wasn't coming in. His old man drank a lot and supposedly was violent type. To make a long story short, there was a backwoods shed on the property but away from main house where the father would take him and his brother, or Walt would take his little brothers place. That's how Mickey was born. In his mind he made a character like alter ego.
