A neighbor of mine is a Marine Reserve chopper pilot, and was on deployment for a year, came home this past June. He works locally, but now he hasn't been home for several days, though his wife is, so they didn't go on vacation. Unusual for another deployment so soon after getting off one.

Another fellow I know is an Army Reserve MP, he was deployed 3 times in the past 6 years, once to Gitmo. Just returned from his last deployment in April, but now he's on deployment again.
