COMMS: Bees kill 60 rare South African penguins in a freak accident

 

More than 60 Africanpenguins were found deadon Boulders Beach near Cape Town, many withbee stings around their eyes,an occurrence researchers said was unprecedented.

 

TheSouthern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds[Watch the water?] said in a statement that it suspects a bees' nest was disturbed in the area. While penguins have been stung by bees before, the foundation said it had not seen an incident on this scale.

 

Katta Ludynia, research manager at the foundation, said her team initially thought a predator was behind the deaths. But postmortems revealed neither a predator nor disease were to blame, but instead found bee stings in the birds' eyes.

 

"And then our veterinarian actually went back to site and found dead bees on that stretch of beach," she said.

 

The foundation's rangers at the penguin colony at Boulders Beach will now monitor nests closely to see if the birds hadeggs or chicks.If so, they will intervene to rescue them for hand-rearing, the foundation said.

 

"The African penguin population is rapidly declining, and it is very sad to see the deaths of so many healthy, most likely breeding adults," Dr. David Roberts, the foundation's clinical veterinarian, said.

 

"This unusual event is part of what can happen in a normal balanced ecosystem and if the penguins were not in such trouble already, it wouldn't be such a tragedy."

 

There are 10,300 [13] breeding pairs of African penguins left in South Africa and the foundation says some 40,000 breeding pairs have been lost in the last 20 years.

 

"The main threats to African penguins are the lack of food, the competition with industrial fisheries over limited resources, increasing shipping traffic, oil spills and pollution, climate change, extreme weather events, diseases, predation and many others, not bees," Ludynia said.

 

Only about one-third [0.333… →33]of all chicks that fledge from all colonies will survive their first year at sea because of a lack of food, she said. "That is a tragedy and will lead to the extinction of the species."

 

The foundation is calling for the restriction of fishing around important African penguin breeding colonies.

Gary Marsh to Exit as Disney Branded Television President, Chief Creative Officer

 

Disney Branded Television President and Chief Creative Officer Gary Marsh is stepping down after33years with the company. He will launch his own production company, which has a deal with Disney.

 

Under that pact, Marsh will make two new "Descendants" movies and a "Beauty and the Beast" prequel, as well as series "Tink," "School for Sensitive Souls" and "Witch Mountain." Marsh, who departs Disney proper at the end of 2021, will create content for all of Disney's many platforms, including Disney+, Hulu, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, ABC, National Geographic, Freeform and FX.

 

While you might not know Gary Marsh's name, you know his work. Marsh developed and shepherded iconic Disney shows like "High School Musical," "Hannah Montana," "Lizzie McGuire," "The Descendants" and "That's So Raven," among many others. And parents owe him a debt of gratitude — it was Marsh who launched Disney Junior Channel and shows like "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse," "Doc McStuffins," "Elena of Avalor" and "Sofia the First."

George Holliday, who filmed Rodney King video, dies of COVID

 

George Holliday, the Los Angeles plumber who shot grainy video of four white police officers beating Black motorist Rodney King in 1991, has died of complications of COVID-19, a friend said Monday.

 

Holliday, 61, died Sunday at a Los Angeles hospital, where he had been for more than a month, according to Robert Wollenweber, a longtime friend and former coworker. Holliday was not vaccinated and was on a ventilator in recent days after contracting pneumonia, Wollenweber said.

 

Holliday was awakened by a traffic stop outside his San Fernando Valley home on the night of March 3 [33], 1991. He went outside to film it with his new video camera, catching the Los Angeles officers punching, kicking and using a stun gun on King, even after he was on the ground.

 

A year later, Holliday's out-of-focus footage — about 9 [3x3 →33] minutes worth — was a key piece of evidence at the four officers' criminal trial for assault and excessive use of force.

 

When a jury acquitted all the officers on April 29, 1992, the city erupted in widespread violence. Hundreds of businesses were looted and destroyed over several days. Entire blocks of homes and stores went up in flames. More than 60 people died by shootings or other violence, mostly in South Los Angeles.

 

The uprising seemed to catch the rest of the nation by surprise, but longtime residents said tensions were building in South LA for years and the King verdict was just the tipping point.

 

On thethirdday of the riots, King went on TV to plead for calm, asking in a trembling voice, “Can we all get along?”

Out of all media cover-ups, spins and obfuscations, little compares to the shady circumstances surrounding the death of Pierre’s youngest son, Michel Trudeau.

 

The moment of the expiry of Trudeau’s third son was November 13th, 1998. It occurred on the ominous date ofFriday the 13th.A fullthreedays later, an article was published by reputable media organization, Associated Press.

 

“Helicopters crews saw no sign of the youngest son of former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau during an aerial search Monday over the mountain lake where he is believed to have drowned.”

 

As recorded, Michel Trudeau died on the previous Friday. Why would a 48 hour time-lapse occur when searching for the body of the son of the ruling Prime Minister of Canada? More mystery follows:

 

As it happens, in warm, shallow water, decomposition works quickly, surfacing a corpse within two or three days. Butcold water slows decay, and people who drown in deep lakes, 30 metres or below, may never surface.

 

Meaning that a search by air–particularly two days after the death– most likely would be entirely ineffective.

 

“After an unexpected break in what had been snowy, foggy weather, rescue workers began their hunt for Michel Trudeau, who was swept into an icy lake by an avalanche Friday in southeastern British Columbia.”

 

Now, a comment from the the manager of the ski resort where young Michel and friends had been skiing:

 

Evan Manners, manager of the Canadian Avalanche Centre in Revelstoke, B.C., said that “before the Trudeau death hehad never heard of an avalanche pushing someone into the water who then drowned.“It’s very rare,” he told the National Post shortly after the accident.

 

Media stated that police carried out an “extensive search”– butthe body of Michel Trudeau was NEVER FOUND— a surprising event because the very spot where he allegedly went under the water is well known, and there are no reported currents in the lake which would carry the body away from that area.

 

The others reportedly in the group, Jeff Butcher, 22, and Bradley Hamacher, 23, huddled with [third person] Bednarz to keep him warm.

 

They yelled at Mike [Trudeau] “to swim, swim, swim’ but basically just watched him go under the water,″ Paul Sinclair, who was with the group a day earlier, told the National Post.

 

If this fellow Paul Sinclair was with the group “a day earlier” as the media article suggests, there is no way he could have been an eyewitness. True, or not true?

 

Now, let us get a bit deeper, so to speak. In an interesting co-incidence, that may not be a co-incidence at all,Michel Trudeau was nearly killed on July 17th, 1998— five months before his actual death when his motor vehicle was broadsided by another vehicle while he was driving in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada.”

 

The alleged accident was so powerful that the truck Michel Trudeau was driving rolled over several times and was a complete write off.

 

By all appearances, it was a miracle that Michel Trudeau survived. The day of the week was a Friday. Five months later, Michel Trudeau was dead. Thethreeyoung men who were reportedly with Trudeau never made a public statement.

 

OnFriday the 13th,Michel Trudeau died. HIscorpse disappeared, never to be found.A spokesman for Pierre Trudeau issued a statement from Montreal saying Michel’s parents were “deeply saddened.”

 

A statement from a “spokesman” for Pierre Trudeau? You mean to say the erudite, out-spoken ex-PM of Canada could not issue a statement himself?

 

It well appears that neither father Pierre, nor mother Margaret Trudeau, travelled to the location of the death to see the situation with their own eyes.

 

Such strange, sketchy circumstances surround the death of Michel Trudeau is 1998. To this day– a full thirty-two years later– not a single Canadian media outlet has reported on a case containing myriad examples of oddities, mysteries and cover-ups regarding the death of the youngest son of Pierre Trudeau.

The most glaring being Justin and brother Alexandre’s all-encompassing dedication to communist regimes like China and Cuba. As far as deceased younger bother Michel Trudeau goes, he really didn’t live long enough to flower into a full-fledged communist like his brothers have.

 

As it happened, Canadian media published a story claiming Michel Trudeau died in a “freak avalanche” while skiing in the Rocky Mountains.

 

Here is what media did not report:

“Federalism must be welcomed as a valuable tool which permits dynamic parties to plant socialist governments in certain provinces, from which the seed of radicalism can slowly spread.”

 

Love, Comrade Pierre Trudeau.

 

Ever gaze upon this within the pages of Canadian media? Of course not. Perhaps it was statements such as this one which caused patriotic ears to perk up, and develop a vendetta against communist-infatuated Pierre Trudeau.

 

Whatever the circumstance, a truism remains. The family and offspring of Pierre Trudeau are one sketchy bunch. Equally as sketchy–CBC and establishment media’s cover-up of the “inequities” of the Trudeau family.
