'John' and 'Jane Doe', of Vermont, claim Disney Cruise Line failed to take action when their daughter was sexually abused aboard the Disney Fantasy last year

Court filings obtained by DailyMail.com claim the three-year-old was groped and 'sexually touched in her private parts' by an older girl in a Princess Leia costume

The family had been enjoying a seven-day cruise that departed Port Canaveral, Florida on January 4 last year

The little girl, identified as 'RV,' was left in the supervision of staff at the Oceaneer Club daycare where she played with kids age between three and 12

While in the Lab Media Lounge of the club, the girl was 'physically restrained and sexually assaulted by a significantly older child', also a passenger, the suit claims

The assault - captured on CCTV- allegedly occurred in 'what was the plain view' of one or more Disney staff, but crew failed to 'recognize the sexual assault' –

 

The parents claim their daughter suffered extreme emotional and mental anguish and trauma
