Anons recently discussed the Strong Cities Network as being one of our problems.
Here's an old dig on Strong Cities. The website now has a lot of "404 Not Found" results. Fortunately, the pages were archived. Strong Cities is "led, managed and facilitated by the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD)", see sauce below. Strong Cities have many familiar member cities: NY, San Diego, The Hague, The Netherlands, LA, London, Atlanta, Beirut, Louisville, Paris and Denver.
The Institute for Strategic Dialogue is interesting. Its Boards are populated with important sounding people, including baronesses and field marshalls. ISD partners and funders include George Washington University, Yale, Harvard, Facebook. Google, Twitter, Microsoft, Carnegie Corporation NY,Open Societies Foundations, a couple of departments in Australian Government, European Union, US State Department, United Nations Development Programme, Brookings Institution and Chatham House.
