Joe Biden Tells Indian Prime Minister Not to Answer Questions from U.S. Press

President Joe Biden continued his conflict with American reporters Friday, urging Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi not to take questions from them during a meeting in the Oval Office.

“I think, with your permission, you could not answer questions because they won’t ask any questions on point,” Biden told Modi, referring to the American press.

The president also criticized White House reporters for their behavior in the Oval Office.

“The Indian press is much better behaved than the American press,” Biden said. “I gotta watch out; they’ll knock one of those down.”

The White House did not include Biden’s comments in the official transcript of his remarks.

Biden’s comment is the latest incident in his war with the White House press corps as he continues to avoid questions in the White House:

On Tuesday evening, Biden infuriated the press after he snubbed American reporters during a meeting with United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson — even after Johnson called on two reporters from the United Kingdom:

White House press secretary Jen Psaki blamed Johnson for the conflict, noting that the prime minister did not inform staff that he would take questions.

She added that Biden was not upset by the incident.

“I think the president has not spent a moment worrying about it,” she replied.

Iran Vows to ‘Eliminate’ Zionism at U.N. ‘Anti-Racism’ Conference

Tehran is dedicated to “the total elimination” of “Zionism,” Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian told a U.N. “anti-racism” conference this week, Fox News reported Thursday.

“As the new foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, I’m honored to announce that my nation’s willpower is dedicated to the total elimination of all forms of racial discrimination, including apartheid and Zionism,” Iran’s top diplomat said.

“These are crimes that constitute horrible atrocities such as child-killing and the creeping occupation through settlements, which extends to the proximity of Al-Aqsa mosque,” Abdollahian claimed, referring to alleged events in Israel.

Abdollahian made the remarks on September 22 at what Fox News referred to as an “anti-racism” meeting on the sidelines of the 76th session of the U.N. General Assembly.

The U.N. officially referred to the meeting as a “commemoration of the adoption of the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action (DDPA)” in 2001 in Durban, South Africa.

The U.N. describes the DDPA as “a comprehensive and visionary document that embodies the world’s commitment to tackle the scourge of racism in all its forms and manifestations.”

The official agenda of this year’s DDPA meeting centered on the theme of “Reparations, racial justice and equality for people of African descent.”

“While the original purpose of the event was combating racism, critics say it has been hijacked by an anti-Israel agenda that turned it into an anti-Semitic hate fest leading the U.S. and Israel to walk out of the first conference,” Fox News noted on September 23.

Abdollahian further stated at Wednesday’s U.N. DDPA meeting that he “expressed regret that the world was still suffering from revived forms of racial discrimination, taking the murder of George Floyd in Minnesota and the international outcry against emerging Islamophobia as instances,” according to Iran’s state-run Fars News Agency.

Fars News Agency paraphrased Abdollahian as claiming that “there are reportedly more than 7,000 Palestinians held at Israeli jails. Hundreds of the inmates have been apparently incarcerated under the practice of administrative detention.”

“Prison authorities keep Palestinian inmates under deplorable conditions lacking proper hygienic standards,” the Iranian Foreign Minister alleged. “The prisoners have also been subjected to systematic torture, harassment, and repression.”

Abdollahian’s affirmation that the Islamic Republic of Iran is “dedicated to the total elimination … of Zionism” on September 22 “is code for working towards the destruction of the Jewish state,” according to Behnam Ben Taleblu, a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies who focuses on Iran.

Trump Joins Call To Decertify Arizona’s 2020 Election Results

Wendy Rogers's petition to decertify the election reached 1 million signatures earlier today

During the Arizona Senate hearing in which the results of the forensic audit of Maricopa County were revealed, 45th President Donald Trump called for the 2020 election in Arizona to be immediately decertified, citing the evidence presented by the auditors.

“It is not even believable the dishonesty of the Fake News Media on the Arizona Audit results,” wrote President Trump, referring to several establishment media outlets suggesting that the audit’s finding that the total vote count provided by Maricopa County is accurate means the rest of the audit’s explosive findings are somehow invalidated.

President Trump noted that the audit “shows incomprehensible Fraud at an Election Changing level, many times more votes than is needed. The Fake News Media refuses to write the facts, thereby being complicit in the Crime of the Century. They are so dishonest, but Patriots know the truth!” The 45th President added, “Arizona must immediately decertify their 2020 Presidential Election Results.”

Arizona state Sen. Wendy Rogers has previously called for the results to be decertified in anticipation of the audit results. Last month, Rogers began gathering signatures calling for the Arizona legislature to begin the process of decertification, and ultimately secured over 1 million signatures prior to the hearing earlier today.

Today she echoed her previous call to action on Twitter, and several Republican and with one former Trump official writing, “The number of illegal ballots found in Maricopa County alone is over 4 times the current amount separating President Trump and Joe Biden in Arizona as a whole.” He added, “Should have never been certified.”

Seven-Term Senator Chuck Grassley, 88, To Run For Re-election

Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley, the oldest Republican in the Senate, announced early Friday morning that he would run for re-election to serve an eighth term in the Senate.

“It’s 4 a.m. in Iowa so I’m running. I do that 6 days a week. Before I start the day I want you to know what Barbara and I have decided. I’m running for re-election—a lot more to do, for Iowa. We ask and will work for your support. Will you join us?” he announced via Grassley Works, a Twitter account affiliated with the senator.

He also put out a brief video announcing his run, call it “the right thing to do for Iowa.”

The Republican senator, who recently turned 88, later tweeted out from his personal account that “Iowa needs strong and effective leadership” and that he still had a lot of work left to be done. Throughout his career in the Senate, which began in 1980, Grassley has chaired key committees like the Senate Finance Committee and the Senate Judiciary Committee, where he is currently the ranking member.

According to the Daily Iowan, Grassley said that his priorities during this election cycle are “working to lower the cost of prescription drugs, give independent cattle producers a fair market, secure the border, protect the renewable fuel standard, and hold the government accountable to the people.”

The Des Moines Register reported that Grassley officially started campaigning on Friday. He made a stop to speak with law enforcement officers.

“I do feel better about it,” Grassley said. “I took longer this time than ever before in the six or seven re-elections I’ve had. I just thought I should, and I did. And I’m happy with the decision I’ve made. My wife and kids are happy. I hope the people of Iowa will be happy.”

The Register also reported that Grassley was praying about whether or not to run again, during a period of time when there had been speculation about whether the eldest Republican statesmen would retire.

Grassley also told reporters that he believes he has done a good job as senator.

“That’s what I’ve always done, and I want to continue doing that — serving the people of Iowa and being their senator,” Grassley said. “Doing a good job of that is the best advertisement you can do of why you should be reelected.”

Abby Finkenauer, a Democratic challenger and former lawmaker, has called Grassley a “coastal elite.”

“Over his nearly five decades in Congress, Iowa has lost over 30,000 family farms, our jobs have been shipped overseas, and decade after decade our rural communities have been hollowed out with our young people leaving in droves as he stood on the sideline,” Finkenauer said in a statement.

One recent Iowa poll shows him with a lead of 18 points over Finkenauer
