Remember the DOJ letter sent to the Arizona Senate threatenin legal action around the audit? One of the potential crimes the DOJ cited was destruction of paper and ELECTRONIC elections records:
>If the state designates some other custodian for such election records, then the Civil Rights Act provides that the “duty to retain and preserve any record or paper so deposited shall devolve upon such custodian.” 52 U.S.C. § 20701. The Department interprets the Act to require that “covered election documentation be retained either physically by election officials themselves, or under their direct administrative supervision.”
Now that we have proof that Maricopa County no longer has the electronic data of the election DOJ needs to prosecute. Senator Fann needs to write a letter back to the DOJ and demand they prosecute those Maricopa County sleezebags. Fat chance, though because:
1) DOJ only prosecutes patriots
2) The person who signed the threatening DOJ letter was Pamela Karlan, the same "civilian" law professor who insulted Barron Trump during the first impeachment hearing.
