Don't drive my overseas. Oh, don't go there for me, because I love you so cruelly. A foreign land over there. You are so missing. Where has this war rushed you, my love, where? How can I sit here alone, you have gone so far. I will cry my blue eyes if I do not see you soon. A faithful heart is knocking longingly, it is looking for your heart. And he's not here. And he is not here, he is not. At night I count the stars in the sky that shine above my head. I don't even know if they are the same for you. Come back soon, my sweetest. Come back, cheer me up. Where has this war rushed you, my love, where? How can I sit here alone, you have gone so far. I will cry my blue eyes if I do not see you soon. A faithful heart is knocking longingly, it is looking for your heart. And he's not here. And he is not here, he is not. I am finally coming back to my love, which is still waiting for me. When I love her, only she knows it well. Here, across the sea, a foreign land. You are so missing. Where has this war rushed me, my dear, where. You will not be alone anymore. I am coming back now, my love. I will see your blue eyes. I don't want to hear you cry anymore. Heart faithful longingly knocks your heart is looking for. Finally, I will comfort you, my dear.

The first Jagdtiger lost in combat was during the failed Operation Nordwind offensive in France in 1945. Rather embarrassingly for what was the most heavily armored vehicle to serve in World War Two, this particular Jagdtiger was lost not to combat with other armored vehicles or aircraft but by American infantry using a bazooka, which at the time was considered an underpowered and ineffective weapon to counter such a massive vehicle.
