That first pic, really did represent how Australia was.
We are an island continent that was near invaded 70 years ago… Japan made it to our doorstep and scared the shit out of everyone…With all the campaigns fought worldwide and everyone in Australia knowing someone that fought…family history etc… and with ALL the soldiers KNOWING how close it came… they brought all the weapons they could home.
