So they are worried shit is gonna all fall into the ocean at once to cause a big wave…Can't they somehow drill vent holes in the island under water to get the lava to drain slowly into the ocean? and/or slowly knock parts of the island in danger of collapsing into the water in a controlled way to lessen any wave?
