Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a highly organized Project Coordinator who can plan, initiate, and oversee execution of projects with the Blaze Media digital team. The successful candidate will be able to visualize complex processes, effectively break down projects into stages, communicate effectively with team members, and ensure timely execution of objectives.
This position will report to the Manager of Digital Operations and can be performed remotely or from our studio offices in Las Colinas, Texas.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Create project frameworks using digital collaboration tools to translate key deliverables into working plans
Become familiar with every aspect of assigned projects, including all short and long-term goals, the entire project calendar, and budgeting details
Monitor daily progress of projects, identify shortcomings, and propose improvements to keep them moving forward
Provide detailed updates to team members to help them visualize work, maximize efficiency, and improve continuously
Organize reports, spreadsheets, invoices, contracts, and other files for easy access
Plan meetings and organize project logistics
Develop timelines, create schedules, and oversee progress to make sure goals are met on time
Ensure team members and departments have what is needed to meet deadlines and milestones
Ensure adherence to laws and policies
Handle administrative assignments from management
Maintain a positive and professional attitude and excellent time management skills
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Proficient at data entry with a superior attention to detail and accuracy
Highly organized with an eye for detail
Aptitude in problem-solving and ability to handle the stress of unexpected challenges in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and responsible
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
A team player with high level of dedication and a high standard for work product
Technical skills; intermediate to advanced level of experience with MS Office, Google Docs, and digital collaboration tools (Wrike, Slack, etc.)
Proven experience in project coordination; experience as a project coordinator or in other similar positions will be considered a plus
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent, relevant work experience
