Precisely. I gave up on organized religion half a century ago, and went looking on my own. The God I found doesn't even faintly resemble the ones advertised here.

There will be a special place for the gatekeepers.

I'm quite aware of that. It wasn't until I took his teachings to heart, and lived them for decades (at great personal expense)… that my God revealed himself to me in undeniable ways.

I'm not saying my God is for everybody. I only pray for others, and to give thanks. Truth is, I wouldn't dare ask mine for a $5 loan.

I'll bow out of any further religious discussion… it would get very personal, and look like a slide.

Not blaming anyone, fren. Cycle of life!

Not everyone needs a 10# toaster… but, as someone who is throwing his 3rd chinese toaster away, in less than a decade, I'd love to find one like I grew up with and not have to think about it ever again.

8 tons? Unless they were hoarding farm equipment, that would be a bit much.

Smart. And comfy.

I cook and eat with my Grandfather's (Sheffield) hunting knife… a metallurgist friend told me you cannot find pure high carbon steel, and the fact that this knife holds an edge many times better than so-called "fine" modern German stuff… shows it. Recycled metal has reached very deeply into our lives.

Good ones, too. Can smell breakfast coffee coming down the stairs… Thanks!

Seriously, would love to have the thing. Drip machines can't hold a candle to it.
