I wouldn't argue that but for this anon… My first tangible encounter with God was while reading the Bible… Ezekiel specifically. There's no argument in His presence.

Wasn't a church goer, just seeking truth. No need for a man to teach you but for some that seems to be the case. Who am I to say how God chooses to interact with another?

Seek for yourself.

Think for yourself.

Putting your trust in any man or institution is futile.

I can only state what I've experienced and already stated.

It's not about religion… it's about relationship/communion.

God is speaking still to this very moment in time.

If you drawn near to him with an open and honest mind/heart you will begin to realize that relationship.

What I've found reading many translations of the Bible is consistent.

Jesus meant what he said "My sheep hear My voice and won't follow another."

He can speak to you in any way He choses. Reading the Bible lets you know who He is and what He is like.

If you go in looking for errors that's all you may find.

Reading the Prophets is like a rollercoaster of emotion but His heart and love for you is exposed.

Also your own heart is exposed and that can be difficult for those who are hanging on to something of no eternal value. So they stop or continue to try and justify their position… futility.

God wins.

Having said that… He also accepts you as you are and the necessary changes will manifest as the relationship grows.
