Yep..started in the early 80's…I was there and watched the destruction.
Mama saw that the Jones' got a nice new car.
So she had to have one too.
Then it was that expensive new house.
She got that too.
Then all the toys…boats, ski mobiles, snow skiing, golf…
Then the credit cards came flooding in.
Maxed all those out.
Let's not forget all the new bling and wardrobe now needed.
She wasn't about to shop at Walmart.
Dad's income couldn't handle the debt.
Mom had to go to work to pay the bills coming in.
Ended up losing everything due to debt.
Forced to move in with elderly parents to support them. [it was in all the MSM news]
By this time any woman still a mom and housewife was ridiculed and looked down
upon as 'second class nobody's' [even by women in the churches].
Then women decided they didn't want to cook, clean, take care of kids, do laundry…it was demeaning.
To the point where women actually stated:
"Children…we don't need them. A pregnancy is nothing but a "parasite" feeding off your body."
…and so…here we are.
Not meaning to put all the blame on the women…then men wanted it/allowed it to happen too.
I just love people like that.
Think it is so easy, because they have it good and easy.
More peeps than not, don't have the funds to just pack up and move…not now.
In my area, housing costs are through the roof.
Apts…can't find one, because they are all taken by illegals. Yet that is still "city" dwelling.
Rural?
Not many can afford rural acreage.
People like this live in their own bubbles.
Never see "others" out of their peep circles…the real world. To them…everyone is like "them".

To reach an intended result, cause the problem, then bring in intended solution.
Maybe that is what they want…Bank Runs.
