So now we may be at a critical juncture where the whole country needs a clearly spoken decision maker, and they look up and see a Bidan. Won't be pretty.
The gut punch has to be something that renders any divisions placed in US society to cause disruption meaningless.
It will create a situation like we see when the Cajun Navy engages during floods. They rescue victims, and race, gender, etc., doesn't matter in the least. Mission purpose is the only priority.
There'll be an event, and the country as a whole will look up and see they have to deal with a Bidan instead of something like the Cajun Navy.. At that point, the reasons why something like that ever happened will be become existential, crucial, and it will be fixed. frontier style.
