I used to work on old motorcycles and cars and resell or trade them. If I did more than I think 5 or 8 in a year (can't remember exactly and yes trade too) DMV wanted to make me get a dealers license.

So you're going to barter huh? Can you buy a house? What about a car? Gas for the car? What about electricity for your house? Fuel for the generator? Internet to communicate? How about water? Do you own water rights on your property? Are you legally allowed to collect rain water? What about everyone else? What about school supplies for your kids (even home school)? etc etc etc.

You may be able to do it and get away with it, but are you a law breaker because of it?
