In a recent interview with The Atlantic, Fauci now says fully vaccinated means two COVID shots plus on booster shot.

This latest rule will be in effect until the next booster shot is forced on the public.

Dr. Anthony Fauci has moved the goalposts on what it means to be “fully vaccinated,” and I’m sure you can guess how it has changed.

For many months now, being “fully vaccinated” meant that you had to have two doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna mRNA vaccine, but now, according to Fauci, you’re not fully vaccinated unless you get the booster shot.

“It is likely, for a real complete regimen, that you would need at least a third dose,” Fauci told The Atlantic in an exclusive interview.

Ed Yong of The Atlantic noted that Fauci has been “bullish about using boosters,” and that he defended the Biden administration’s “decision to talk about widespread availability before the FDA had a chance to weigh in.”

Then he asked, “What is your stance on the role that they should play in the pandemic going forward?”

“I’ve made it clear that my opinion has always been that I believe that a third-shot booster for a two-dose mRNA [vaccine] should ultimately and will ultimately be the proper, complete regimen,” Fauci said. “The vaccine is very successful. The durability of it is something that’s a subject of considerable discussion and sometimes debate.”

CDC Implements Study on “True Toll of Guns in America” to Help “Identify Trends and Craft Swift Interventions”

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky unilaterally extended an eviction moratorium and now she’s targeting gun owners.

“I swore to the President and to this country that I would protect your health. This is clearly one of those moments, one of those issues that is harming America’s health,” Walensky previously said as she declared gun violence a public health threat.

The CDC is studying “gun violence” and once all the data is gathered, the agency will help doctors “craft swift interventions.”

“Timely state- and local-level data on emergency department visits for nonfatal firearm injuries are currently limited. The collection of near-real-time data on emergency department visits for nonfatal firearm injuries overall and by intent (intentional self-directed, unintentional, and assault-related) can support state and local jurisdictions in identifying and responding to emerging public health problems,” the CDC wrote in May 2021.

The CDC is now hoping to get a fuller picture of the data and long-neglected details on the impact of daily gun violence. The CDC and the National Institutes of Health, for the first time in nearly a quarter-century, are funding new research on guns to help reduce firearm-related injuries, deaths, crime and suicides.

Among several other gun research projects, the CDC is now providing funding to 10 state health departments so they can start collecting data in near-real time on emergency room nonfatal firearm injuries. This will allow doctors and epidemiologists to potentially identify trends and craft swift interventions, as they have done to contain the coronavirus pandemic and other national health emergencies.

Walensky previously intervened and told private landlords they cannot evict tenants who defaulted on payments.

Now Walensky is sashaying into the gun grabbing business.

Senate parliamentarian kills Democrat plan to grant mass amnesty to illegal immigrants

The Senate parliamentarian on Wednesday shot down the Democrats' plan to grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants without going through the normal process of building consensus among lawmakers and voting to change the law.

Democrats have promised that widespread amnesty would be included in their $3.5 trillion spending bill, which they aim to pass through a process called budget reconciliation to deny Republicans the opportunity to filibuster and kill the bill. However, Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough told lawmakers that their attempt to update the immigration registry through budget reconciliation violates Senate rules, CQ Roll Call reports.

The plan involved changing the date on the immigration registry, which is currently set at 1972, to permit immigrants who have resided in the U.S. since then and demonstrated "good moral character" to become legal permanent residents. The idea to update the national immigration registry was a backup plan Democrats formed after the parliamentarian rejected their first attempt to include amnesty in the $3.5 trillion bill.

However, MacDonough reportedly told Senate Democrats that amnesty would be a "weighty policy change" and that any bill that would grant millions of illegal immigrants in the United States the right to stay here legally and seek U.S. citizenship is unlikely to meet the requirements for a budget reconciliation bill.

"The change in status to LPR [lawful permanent residency] remains a life-long change in circumstances the value of which vastly outweighs its budgetary impact," she said.

Demolished Evergrande buildings expose alarming problem for China

The potential collapse of Chinese property titan Evergrande has dominated headlines – but it has exposed a much deeper problem facing Beijing.

That imbalance was made brutally clear several weeks ago, when 14 uncompleted apartment blocks were demolished at Kunming in southern China’s Yunnan province.

Work on the Sunshine II project had begun in 2011 but were never finished, with the buildings lying vacant since 2013 before meeting their demise.

While that project wasn’t one of Evergrande’s, it’s a forceful reminder of the scale of the problem within China’s property sector – and the impact a scale back would have on Australia, given China’s previous reliance on us for iron ore supplies.

According to Deloitte’s Chris Richardson, the fall in iron ore prices off the back of Evergrande’s woes mean “huge budgetary news” for both the federal and WA governments.

“Both have budgeted conservatively but they may not have turned out to have been conservative enough,” Mr Richardson told The Australian this week.

‘Beginning of the end’

Evergrande’s spectacular downfall began as China’s real estate market soared, with demand for homes in cities such as Beijing and Shanghai sending prices skyrocketing.

The company took out a string of loans and expanded rapidly, snapping up assets and making the most of China’s thriving economy.

But when property prices began to drop in smaller cities, and when the Chinese government rolled out measures to curtail over-the-top property borrowing via its “three red lines” policy, it left Evergrande in the lurch, with mountains of debt.

“Evergrande’s struggles have exposed the flaws of the Chinese financial system — unrestrained borrowing, expansion and corruption,” a recent New York Times analysis of the nightmare reads.

“The company’s crisis is testing the resolve of Chinese leaders’ efforts to reform as they chart a new course for the country’s economy.

“If they save Evergrande, they risk sending a message that some companies are still too big to fail. If they don’t, as many as 1.6 million home buyers waiting for unfinished apartments and hundreds of small businesses, creditors and banks may lose their money.”

Leland Miller, the chief executive officer of the consulting firm China Beige Book, said the Evergrande situation proved China’s previous growth model would not survive.

“This is the beginning of the end of China’s growth model as we know it,” he said.

“The term ‘paradigm shift’ is always overused, so people tend to ignore it. But that’s a good way of describing what’s happening right now.”

Meanwhile, according to Reuters, insiders claim Beijing is now directing government-owned companies and state-backed property developers to buy up Evergrande assets, another sign of a potential looming collapse.
