Bit tenuous maybe, but I might have connected two apparently disparate things:

What's the link between the long term evolution of covid and absolute zero?

Vegetarianism

I know, shit punchline…

From the first pdf:

'''Monitor for reverse zoonoses and if necessary, consider animal vaccination,

slaughter, or isolation policies.''' A CULL

From the second:

Beef and lamb phased out by 2050 and replaced by greatly expanded demand for vegetarian food.

They will force us to stop eating meat by eliminating it, claiming cattle are spreading covid to humans, then sheep, then pigs, then chickens, then fish maybe, my countrymen are mostly gullible enough…

It has happened many times previously in Britain - swine flu, BSE, foot and mouth, bird flu - all have lead to piles of burning livestock and subsequent meat shortages.

Now imagine all of those happening one after the other in one season, instead of a decade.

Our options would be

Malnutrition

Eat the soy burgers.
