Agreed. Even if that link turns out to not be a thing, there's no way you can ignore India. Too big and too well located next to China. It also has a poor labor force that's been weaponized against other countries that need to be great again. Good guys don't solve that by making things worse for them.
The more thoroughly it is done, the longer it will be before people have to do it again. Unfortunately human nature pretty much guarantees that a succeeding generation will have to do it again. Maybe if we work out how to screen for psychopaths with 100% accuracy we can hold it off.
