Welp, I just fired off an email to my landlord. The landlord is two guys (maybe queer) who bought the house as an investment. They've been making an annual inspection visit ever since my previous roommate tried to make trouble by reporting to the property manager that there was damage to the property (false). They say that they do this for all of their properties. Great, I started a trend.
Anyway, they're coming for another visit and the property manager sent an email saying that the owners would be wearing the "necessary PPE". Last year, these dudes came with a black mask on and refused to take it off when I requested it. I have no patience for that. So one of the owners sent an email and he stated that he is "double vaccinated". I just emailed him back with the following two lines:
''You have, unfortunately, made this into a medical concern wih the suggestion that you will need PPE and a vaccination to visit.
I don't appreciate the implication that you are walking into a contagion zone or, for that matter, that you are yourselves contagious.

I know what you mean but, frankly, I am being left alone except for these dudes who think they have a right to inspect me. I had a couple of census people visit a couple of months ago because I neglected to fill in the census. They were very nice. Just a few questions answered and they were off. One of them had a mask on and I suggested that she might be uncomfortable. She was so relieved that I wasn't one of those covid freaks. People around here are actually pretty good. No discernible reason to move. I just want this covid freak show to end.
