Don't know about Indiana but, in TX, it is against the law for a board member to respond to a speaker, who addressing the board, during public comments. Thus, if someone wants to cuss you out, you just have to sit there and take it til the commentor's 3 minutes are up.
Maybe the board members don't like having to quietly take their lumps. Kek.
