Ive been a network engineer and admin for years. Heres my advice. BACKUP YOUR SHIT! You do anything you want on the internet. Just back up your shit! Anything you dont want to lose, simply back it up. You usually want to have three different sources of backup It could be a thumb drive, DVD, Cloud. I used to collect viruses as a hobby. Some of them were fucking hilarious. Ive had my entire network compromised. All you gotta do is reinstall everything. remember BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!! Not to mention try learning to use linux. Linux is free, and far more stable than windows and mac. UBUNTU is prolly the best for non IT people. It has a good support community, and is a very stable and easy to install OP.
Nah just go down and get another cheap hard drive. Replace your windows HDD, then download ubuntu.iso file. Then follow these instructions.
