Some homeschoolers do co-ops where one parent teaches a subject that they are comfortable with, and another parent teaches something else. Like you could do an every other day kind of thing with someone else who is willing to be a homeschooler.
I don't think it's illegal to homeschool someone else's kids. Just call it a co-op.
Being a tutor might require having a license, so I would avoid that term.
