Good day everyone. I have a piece of information I should tell you all. Being retired military, my wife and I have military ID cards. Her id card expired on the 26th. US Government web sites "require" Chrome or Internet Explorer to function correctly. Imagine that….. I ended up having to call them but was able to use Chromium for most things. Apparently government web sites have been locked down by Microsoft so that many functions do not work if the system can't determine your browser type….. Thought you all might like to know this. So, for some of us trying to "escape" the BS and tracking, even the government has been working to make it almost impossible.

The end of the story hasn't been reached, either. I had to make an appointment to go over 2.5 hours away to Pope AFB to renew her ID card (there's a place 7 miles from me, which is refusing to do ID cards due to COVID restrictions) so, I had to set a 10:30 AM appointment, so I could arrive in time to do the appointment (And we will need to leave around 7AM to get there and have time to navigate traffic in unfamiliar locations) - so, this isn't easy.
