Public schools made remote learning too hard so that the parents didn’t want to do it. The kids got lazy when they were at home & didn’t want to do their school work so parents sent them back to school for the teachers to deal with them. I think it is more likely that the teachers will get tired of teaching the kids and the parents will get angry at the teachers & school boards.
