As a retired Senior Noncommissioned Officer, I applaud Lt Col Scheller's sentiments, however his way of going about this was stupid. He let his emotion overrule his reason. He KNOWINGLY broke the rules, PERIOD.

I hope he takes it to Courts Martial, I hope he is brave enough, as every other service member standing up against the tyranny. But falling on swords prematurely, especially when your know better, is stupid. He pulled the equivalent of running into traffic during rush-hour. So, he gets to deal with the consequences. The straw that broke the camel's back was the Gag Order. These aren't new to the Uniformed Code of Military Justice, The Rules for Courts Martial, or the Manual for Courts Martial in addition to applicable U.S. Code, Federal Statutes, and Service Rules, ALL OF WHICH an O-5 of 16-17 years should be intimately aware as he has administered justice within this construct. If not, then he sucks hard out the gate.

Again, I feel for him and personally support the entire Great Awakening and movement towards freedom and justice under God.
