Thisanon however…. i can not do it very well, if at all. It’s my shortcoming, handicap, inability to fake this shit, even just a little. Being single and childless, I figure i can do it this way where others with family can not. Was never much of a ‘team’ player, never mastered any board games, couldn’t stand being at part of committees or consensus-es…
However creeped the shit out of myself when one time i was invited into a game of Liars Dice… and cleaned everyone out. Still couldn’t help felling guilty and give my winnings to the runnerup. Never played that shit again. If I tried to do that when the stakes are real and for keeps… i’d likely just start throwing up in front of everyone. Knowing my own difficulties and limitations on this subject, has seemingly served me okay to date, so far. The deception ALL AROUND is like living my greatest nightmare. Yet decent people, who are able to ‘do it’, have an odd kind of respect from me, I can’t deny that.
Here forward, this all makes me unnerved about instructing operators on farm tractors, heavy equipment, machinery controls… my souped up zeroturn. Not so much as operating a golfcart on my farm. Shit… picks and shovels? Splitting axe? Posthole digger? Forget chainsaws or tilling.
