No need for theory. The head of the Port of LA/LB already gave an interview with Bloomberg that they were keeping things slow until they got the bailout that the Gulf ports got after the hurricanes. All three big ports, CA, OR, and WA. They want $11 Billion, now.

Longshoremen’s Union wants 24/7 now. Port won’t give it to them until the payout. Teamsters are even more constricted on truck driver appointment carp.

 

Nothing to do with chassis unavailability, driver unavailability, all on admin generated constriction.

 

This is not going to be union friendly.

Nooo, those are Port fees, from gubernatorial appointed officials, which is what Port Authority officials are, technically.

 

CA, OR, and WA are all doing the same chit, and icing out the Longshoreman’s Union, so it is NOT anti-GOP.
