theory on the port backlog. we know it's artificial cause they're deliberately not running 24/7, when they have the capability to do so and have done so in the past. in los angeles, for instance, the port authority has recently intermittently approved 24hr operations. some days ok, other days not ok.

my theory is that this could be to throw off customs so that eventually they let their guard down and become more lax in allowing backed up cargo to go through without normal spot checks.

how likely of a scenario would it be for PLA special forces to onshore a forward element in the thousands once assured they won't be detected by customs? i'm not talking about coming in armed to fight. but just a forward element in civilian clothes to lay low in their safe houses until blue helmets.

i mean we already know people get smuggled in containers

not only that, but when a cops think they're justified, they'll unload until the target is neutralized and then some, whereas a civilian will typically only use force up to what's defensible in court, drastically skewing the death counts.
