I am an Aussie from Sydney. AMA about the shithousery currently going on in our country.
No, no where in Australia is that bad at the moment. The worst place to be at the moment would be Melbourne, but Sydney is slowly easing restrictions as our vaccination figures keep rising. It seems everything is starting to go back to normal.. for now.
A new premier hasn't been decided yet, but it's likely to be current NSW Treasuer Dom Perrotet. His dad works for World Bank, so there's obviously some warning signs already. But he has recently come out and saying he doesn't believe in the segregation of unvaccinated people, and made this post a few years ago which gives me some hope:
Some people seem surprised by Donald Trump's success in the US election.
But this result is a victory for people who have been taken for granted by the elites in the political establishment for too long.
There is a silent majority, a forgotten people, who feel like the values they hold dear are no longer being represented by the political class.
In fact, these values and the people who hold them are looked upon with contempt.
If you stand for free speech, you are not a bigot.
If you question man-made climate change, you are not a sceptic.
If you support stronger borders, you are not a racist.
If you want a plebiscite on same sex marriage, you are not a homophobe.
If you love your country, you are not an extremist.
These are mainstream values that people should be free to articulate without fear of ridicule or persecution by the Left.
It's time for a new political conversation that reflects the concerns of everyday people.
It's time for a conservative spring.
We're fighting the same war on different shores. The behaviour I've seen from the Victorian police in the last couple of weeks, assaulting citizens and shooting unarmed protesters with rubber bullets at the Shrine of Remembrance will stick with me forever.
I hope it will never have to come to US citizens using their guns to defend themselves against the government, but hey at least you guys still have them.
Not me personally, a lot of people I know have been in bed for a few days after the vaxx but nothing serious. That's not to say it's not happening. A couple of journalists have posted pictures of themselves in hospital with myocarditis. There's videos of injured Australians speaking on camera about their vaccine injuries, a poor Indian girl is now in a wheelchair and is relearning how to walk. An Aboriginal elder they interviewed on MSM and used as a feature story recently died 6 days after taking the shot. A nurse at a Melbourne hospital called into a radio show yesterday and says that in his hospital every 20 minutes someone is showing up with a vaccine side effect, most commonly chest pain.
