What are they hiding? At the start of Covid many scientists believed it likely leaked from Wuhan lab - until a conference call with Patrick Vallance changed their minds. We asked for his emails about the call. This is what we got . . .

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10052689/Government-condemned-refusing-release-details-key-email-conversations-Covid-origins.html

Before this discussion, several of the world’s most influential experts believed the new virus most likely came from a laboratory – but days later, the scientists began dismissing such scenarios as ‘implausible’ and branding them conspiracy theories.

The critical call is at the centre of concerns that the scientific establishment tried to stifle debate on the pandemic’s origins, as damning new evidence emerges of US ties to high-risk research on bat viruses in Wuhan, where the first cases emerged in late 2019.

The Mail on Sunday requested emails, minutes and notes on the call between Sir Patrick Vallance – Britain’s chief scientific adviser – and its organisers Sir Jeremy Farrar, director of the Wellcome Trust medical charity, and Anthony Fauci, the US infectious diseases expert and presidential adviser.

Yet when the documents were released they had page after page redacted with thick lines of black ink by Whitehall officials. Even the names of experts copied in on discussions were blocked – and exchanges as trivial as one Edinburgh biologist’s ‘thank you’ for being invited – leaving only a few basic details about the call visible.

The lines left intact include a demand for the discussions, involving 13 participants around the world, to be conducted in ‘total confidence’, and an intriguing email line suggesting ‘we need to talk about the backbone too, not just the insert’.

That was possibly sent by Dutch virologist Marion Koopmans, a member of the World Health Organisation team that produced a widely criticised report into Covid’s origins.

Such absurd state secrecy is highly contemptuous towards taxpayers and to a world that wants to know what caused this devastating pandemic to guard against similar catastrophes in the future.

Would be a good time to remind the world that the UK government considered covid 19 to be a low risk mortality in March 2020, before any lockdowns were imposed.

Eight dead in Milan plane crash: Private plane 'carrying French passengers' smashes into empty office building in suburbs killing everyone on board 'including boy'

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10054509/Eight-dead-Milan-plane-crash-Private-plane-smashes-office-building.html

A small private plane carrying six passengers and two crew members crashed into a vacant, two-story office building in a Milan suburb, killing everyone on board.

The LaPresse news agency initially quoted firefighters at the scene saying the pilot and all five passengers aboard were killed.

But later LaPresse and other media said there were eight people aboard the flight, including a boy.

Rai state TV said the passengers were believed to be French.

Fire officials couldn't immediately be reached to confirm the nationalities or the number of people aboard the plane.

Firefighters tweeted that no one other than those aboard were involved in the early afternoon crash near a subway station in San Donato Milanese, a small town near Milan.

They said several cars in a nearby parking lot were set ablaze, but apparently the vehicles were unoccupied at the time.

A thick column of dark smoke rose from the crash site and was visible for kilometers.

Firefighters were extinguishing the flames of the now-charred building, which reportedly was under renovation.

Sky TG24 said the plane was flying between Milan's Linate airport and the Italian island of Sardinia.

This is a breaking news story. We will bring you more information as soon as it becomes available.

Environment minister Zac Goldsmith says petrol crisis is a 'good lesson' in need for UK to end its 'dependence' on fossil fuels

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10054007/Zac-Goldsmith-says-petrol-crisis-lesson-need-UK-end-reliance-fossil-fuels.html

Environment minister Zac Goldsmith has said the ongoing petrol crisis is a 'good lesson' in the need for the dependence on fossil fuels to end.

In an interview with The Independent, Lord Goldsmith said queues at petrol stations amid current shortages should serve as a reminder of the need to accelerate the switch to electric vehicles.

He also dismissed fears the current difficulties could make it harder to achieve political and public backing for an agreement to tackle the climate emergency at the forthcoming Cop26 summit in Glasgow.

Military drivers will be deployed to deliver fuel to forecourts from Monday as the crisis at the pumps continues.

Almost 200 military personnel, including 100 drivers, have been training at haulier sites and will start deliveries to help relieve the situation at petrol stations, which ministers insist is stabilising.

Another globalist gobshyt thinking he knows best for everyone else.
