People have a totally upside down view of wealthy people. Those people 'represent' billions of dollars. That doesn't mean they get million dollar paychecks. Most of them get semi normal salaries like the rest of us, they just get to control vast amounts of wealth. Those companies and assets have their own tax structures.

Ask yourself, if you had access to millions that could be put toward your salaryโ€ฆ.why would you do that knowing they would tax the hell out of it? You would leave those millions in the company doing company things, while taking only 100K or so for yourself.

True. Company expense account with an ATM card for starters. None of that is on their salary, but they offload hella day to day expenses that way. You hear about these rich people who never pay for a meal, don't own a car, basically don't pay for anything themselves. It is all through the company.
