Might still be a good idea to snail mail them a signed amended statement with an attachment or two before that date. You can email them a copy and tell them it's in the mail and you would like to discuss it with someone. Surely you can find one person in all those you already have in the loop that will be sympathetic. Maybe tell them that you are getting a CBC test on your immune system. That might give out maybe weeks or a month. Anyway, don't be forceful, try to be friendly and you just want to check some things out.
