u understand most of the gold is already owned by the central banks and ultra wealthy? stopping central bank fiat to go to a gold standard is not going to be what gold bugs imagine it to be. it's better than fiat, but it's like trying to get into bitcoin now.

silver will have it's day, but only if you hold on to it through the bad times. so if you're not rich, better to stockpile food and ammo. if things get really bad, you can trade some of your food or ammo for gold and silver on the cheap.
