My response to it yesterday was basically I thought they were overlooking the Chinese penchant for group-think. Wherever 1.4 billion Chinese decide to direct their anger, it won't be good. Anyone who has dealt with the chinese can tell you the only way to a 'winning' resolution is one in which they can save face. That will mean they have to emerge the hero in some capacity. A clever chess player like Trump could make this happen. Beating them with a stick will not make it happen.
Yep, and the $10TN coincidentally aligns with a debt the pre-Mao govt. in China owed us from way back, which they of course now deny. No doubt Trump has a way to make these things cancel, or turn out a win/win for both, no doubt that is part of what was discussed in the Forbidden City. Time will tell.
