I stopped buying bread, now I make my own. but lately, it's hard to find the right flour, so I've been buying bread as a backup, but it is so sugary. I don't put any sugar in my bread, just salt, water, yeast (which I make my own), flour. That's all you need. Now read the list of ingredients on your package of bread at home. Wow!
I always wondered why it took so long to toast my bread, it's because I don't use sugar, sugar helps it brown/toast faster.
