ONE DAY After Facebook “Whistleblower” Begs Congress to Crack Down on Conservatives – Facebook Deletes Fundraising Posts for Jan. 6 Political Prisoners

It was all a setup.

On Tuesday Facebook “whistleblower” and Democrat donor, Frances Haugen went before a Senate subcommittee this week two days after appearing on “60 Minutes” to push for more tech control of free speech as they see fit.

Facebook, Google-YouTube, and Twitter have been eliminating conservative voices on their platform for years. Even President Trump was banned from Facebook after their fake news reports that he organized an “insurrection” at the US Capitol on Jan. 6th.

According to FOX News, Haugen has donated 37 times and given nearly $2,000 to Democrats and related PACs since 2016 while being employed at Facebook, Pinterest, and Gigster, according to Federal Election Commission records.

On Wednesday morning, Rep. Madison Cawthorne (R-NC) joined Stuart Varney on Varney and Co. to discuss Facebook and the peculiar “whistleblower” Frances Haugen.

Cawthorne told Stuart he was concerned with this so-called whistleblower whose goal was to censor conservatives and the right to free speech in America.

Madison Cawthorne was right.

On Wednesday night Facebook began banning, censoring and eliminating ANY POSTS and PLATFORMS that raised money for the Jan. 6 political prisoners.

Facebook is sending out warnings to the pages that helped raise money for the Jan. 6 political prisoners who are unjustly sitting in prison without trial for their role or non-role in the Jan. 6 protests and riot.

Shawn Bradley Witzemann posted this on Twitter last night (Wednesday) on Facebook banning Tribune Media International page.

Pfizer Asks FDA To Approve COVID Jab For Children As Young As 5

Nearly three weeks after Pfizer and BioNTech released data purporting to show that their COVID jab is safe and effective for children between the ages of 5 and 11, the two companies confirmed Thursday that they had officially asked the FDA to approve their jab for emergency use for children in that age group.

According to the NYT, should the FDA grant this approval, it would make another 28MM Americans (all young children) eligible for the jab. The FDA has reassured Pfizer that it will "move quickly" on the request. A meeting has been tentatively scheduled for Oct. 26 to review the data and consider the emergency approval. A decision on emergency approval is expected some time between Halloween and Thanksgiving.

Parents across the country are waiting on the FDA's decision. Now that California has become the first state in the country to require children to be vaccinated to attend school (be it private or public), the FDA's approval could spur similar measures from other states.

Per the NYT, whether the emergency authorization is extended will depend not only on the strength of the clinical trial data, but on whether they could prove to regulators that they are properly manufacturing a new pediatric formulation of the vaccine. This new formulation would only include about one-third of the adult dosage. Producing this new formulation will require Pfizer to add more diluent to the jab.

Dr. Janet Woodcock, the acting FDA commissioner, said last week that children might require “a different dosage or formulation from that used in an older pediatric population or adults.”

The FDA will also have to examine the purity and stability of mass-produced pediatric doses to ensure that the "quality" and potency matches that of the doses given to children during the trials.

While one in every six Americans infected with COVID was under the age of 18, even the NYT acknowledges that "children rarely become severely ill" from COVID.

Pfizer's submission coincides with the release of new study data which appears to confirm that the protection provided by the Pfizer jab starts to wane after a couple of months - even earlier than many experts had expected.

It also comes as three northern European countries have restricted use of the Moderna jab - which, like Pfizer's jab, is based on mRNA technology - among younger patients amid worries that the threat of rare side effects might outweigh the benefit of whatever protection is provided by the jab.

Key witness in FBI case against Assange held in custody to stop his ‘crime spree’ in Iceland – media

A man whose testimony the FBI uses to justify extraditing Julian Assange from Britain has reportedly been arrested in Iceland after police requested his detention to halt his ongoing crime spree, local media reports.

Sigurdur Thordarson, also known under the moniker ‘Siggi the Hacker’, was placed into custody in Iceland last month, the newspaper Stundin said, citing his lawyer. A judge agreed with the police that if Thordarson remained free, he would continue an ongoing spree of crimes in the European nation. He is now kept in the highest-security prison in the country, Litla-Hraun, the report said.

There is a provision in Icelandic law that allows indefinite detention of a convicted felon if there is a reasonable suspicion that the individual has been reoffending and will continue to do so unless arrested. It has a high legal bar and is rarely used in practice, but was applied in Thordarson’s case, Stundin reported. It mentioned earlier confessions of dubious financial machinations made by Thordarson during an interview he gave the newspaper.

Thordarson is a dubious character, whose prior convictions were related to financial fraud and his soliciting of sexual favors from minor boys. Yet his credibility – or lack thereof – is essential for the ongoing US bid to extradite WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange from Britain.

Testimony of the Icelandic criminal, identified as “Teenager” from “NATO Country 1” in court papers, was cited by US prosecutors to prove a pattern of hacking activities by Assange. Thordarson earlier this year told Stundin that he made false confessions to the FBI after he contacted the US Embassy in Iceland and offered to help them build a case against Assange in exchange for immunity from prosecution and a monetary reward.

The US wants to paint Assange as a serial instigator of computer crimes, most prominently by whistleblower Chelsie Manning. She sent WikiLeaks classified materials about US military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, including the infamous video of a 2007 massacre in Baghdad, named “Collateral Murder” by the transparency website. Manning served a lengthy prison term for that, which ended with a commutation of her sentence by outgoing President Barack Obama.

Assange defenders insist he was never anything but a publisher and that WikiLeaks was doing what countless more traditional media outlets did without reprisal: revealing information that the public had the right to know. His treatment by the British and American justice systems is perceived by many as retaliation for embarrassing Washington and a dangerous crackdown on legitimate journalism.

In January, a British judge denied the US extradition request, but the decision was justified by humanitarian concerns rather than any flaws in the legal argument against Assange. Judge Vanessa Baraitser ruled that if the Australian is handed over to American authorities, he may take his own life. Washington appealed the decision.

Seems the black hats have been outing US SF and Special access programs a lot this past week

US Marine Special Ops Forces Have Been In Taiwan For Over A Year, Report Confirms

A bombshell Wall Street Journal report has revealed (and confirmed) that an elite contingent of special operations Marines has been deployed to Taiwan for at least the past year - a revelation sure to outrage Beijing amid ongoing charges that the US has effectively abandoned the status quo One China policy.

Citing US officials with knowledge of the program, the report details that "About two dozen members of U.S. special-operations and support troops are conducting training for small units of Taiwan’s ground forces," and that "The U.S. Marines are working with local maritime forces on small-boat training." It's the first such openly confirmed US training deployment in support of local forces since 1979. Taiwan media previously reported it, but this is the first time US officials are providing confirmation.

The sources confirmed, "The American forces have been operating in Taiwan for at least a year" - news which comes after multiple large waves of Chinese PLA flights have left the self-ruled island's defense forces on high alert, and have sent tensions soaring.

There've long been rumors of the Marine presence, and local media reports, but it was deemed highly secretive likely so as to avoid Beijing's wrath and escalatory military measures, as WSJ notes:

Asian media reports last year suggesting a possible U.S. Marine deployment in Taiwan were never confirmed by U.S. officials. The presence of U.S. special operations forces hasn’t been previously reported.

In 2020 Taiwan local media had noted the Pentagon expressly denied the presence of US Marine Raiders (a recently re-established Marine special ops group). One report said at the time:

Pentagon spokesman John Supple has told Taiwan News that "The reports about U.S. Marines in Taiwan are inaccurate" but did not elaborate on which details were incorrectly reported.

Taiwan officials have previously used terms like "fortress" and "porcupine strategy" to describe the level of readiness the island is hoping to achieve in order to stave off any future Chinese military threat. Taipei has also recently approved a nearly $9 billion boost in arms and defense modernization spending amid near daily PLA aerial incursions of its defense identification zone.

Twitter feature to warn users that certain conversations could become ‘heated or intense’

A new Twitter feature will warn users that controversial conversations on the platform could become “intense” if they join in and to remember that there’s a human behind every post.

“Ever want to know the vibe of a conversation before you join in? We’re testing prompts on Android and iOS that give you a heads up if the convo you’re about to enter could get heated or intense,” Twitter revealed on Wednesday, explaining that the new feature was an attempt to “better support healthy conversation.”

The warnings are seemingly set to display if the site’s algorithms decide that a post appears controversial — and Twitter said that it “may consider the Tweet topic and the relationship between the Tweet author and replier” when deciding how to trigger its notices.

If Twitter does deem a post to be sufficiently controversial, it will advise, “Heads up: Conversations like this can be intense.” The new warnings will also encourage users to “look out for each other” and “remember the human” behind each post, reminding those who feel strongly about a topic that “diverse perspectives have value.”

Twitter is notorious for overly-heated discussions on controversial topics and while some users applauded the site’s initiative, others questioned how useful such a feature could be when nearly every conversation has the potential to turn fiery.

The point was demonstrated by one user who noted that on the internet even a simple post about corn dogs could get intense, to which another user jokingly replied: “Corn dogs suck.”

Chicago gang members released without charges after deadly shootout — in part because they were 'mutual combatants' who willingly fought each other

Chicago gang members involved in a deadly shooting Friday were released from custody without charges — one of them being first-degree murder — in part because the five arrestees were "mutual combatants" and willingly fought with each other, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

What are the details?

The paper — citing an internal police report and a law enforcement source with knowledge of the investigation — said the "brazen mid-morning gunfight" in the Austin neighborhood involved rival factions of the Four Corner Hustlers street gang.

The gun battle ended with one shooter dead and two suspects wounded, the Sun-Times said. It was "just like the Wild West," the source told the paper.

More from the Sun-Times:

About 10:30 a.m., two Dodge Chargers driven by members of the Body Snatchers faction of the Four Corner Hustlers drove to the 1200 block of North Mason Avenue and exchanged words with members of the gang's Jack Boys set, according to the source and the police report.

After circling the block and coming back, at least three individuals jumped out of the Chargers and began to shoot into a brick house using handguns equipped with "switches" that made the weapons fully automatic, noted the source and report. Members of the Jack Boys who were inside the home then began firing back.

Two of the Body Snatchers were left wounded, including an unidentified 32-year-old man who was later pronounced dead at a hospital, according to the report and the Cook County medical examiner's office. A 29-year-old man aligned with the Jack Boys was also struck.

While the source confirmed that more than 70 shell casings were found outside the home, that likely doesn't reflect the number of shots that were fired from inside.

The gunfight, which was caught on a police POD camera, came to a halt when a police cruiser pulled up to the block, according to the report and the source. The Body Snatchers then fled in the Chargers, leaving their fatally wounded accomplice behind.

No charges against 'mutual combatants'

The Sun-Times, citing the law enforcement source, said police wanted to charge all five suspects with murder and aggravated battery — but by Sunday morning a Chicago police spokeswoman said the suspects had "been released without charges."

Over a dozen ex-NBA players charged with multimillion-dollar fraud

More than a dozen NBA veterans — including former Coney Island high school star and ex-Los Angeles Clipper Sebastian Telfair — have been charged with defrauding the sports association’s health plan out of millions of dollars, Manhattan federal prosecutors announced Thursday.

The indictment accuses 18 former ballers of ripping off $4 million from the NBA’s Health and Welfare Benefit Plan, which provides additional coverage to eligible active and retired players.

The defendants allegedly submitted “false and fraudulent claims for reimbursement of expenses for medical and dental services that were not actually rendered,” according to court papers.

The scheme was allegedly orchestrated by ex-New Jersey Net shooting guard Terrence Williams, who recruited other retired athletes and supplied them with the bogus invoices and letters for reimbursement in exchange for at least $230,000 in kickbacks, the indictment charges.

But Williams’ phony documentation raised some red flags — particularly a pair of 2019 letters that were supposedly from a chiropractor and were submitted by two defendants in the case.

“[The] letters are unusual in several respects: they are not on letterhead, contain unusual formatting, have grammatical errors, and one of the letters misspells a purported patient’s name,” the indictment states.

In another glaring discrepancy, ex-Chicago Bulls power forward Gregory Smith submitted claims for eight root canals and crowns supposedly performed at a Beverly Hills dental office on Dec. 20, 2018, when he was out of the country that entire month, playing basketball in Taiwan.

Similarly, ex-Boston Celtics power forward Ronald Glen Davis, aka Big Baby, allegedly submitted a $27,000 dental claim for work performed at the same dental office — even though he was traveling in Paris on that date.

Among the defendants are 18 former NBA players — including six-time NBA All-Defensive Team member Tony Allen and former Lakers guard Shannon Brown. Allen’s wife, Desiree Allen, is also charged in the scheme.

Telfair, a Brooklyn native, is the cousin of former NBA star Stephon Marbury.

The fraud, which began in 2017, resulted in a $2.5 million windfall for the defendants, court papers allege.

None of the 18 people named in the indictment could immediately be reached for comment.

Prince Andrew allowed to review sealed 2009 settlement between Jeffrey Epstein and accuser Virginia Giuffre

A New York judge gave Prince Andrew’s lawyers permission on Wednesday to review a sealed settlement from 2009 between Jeffrey Epstein and Virginia Giuffre, who is suing the royal claiming he assaulted her at three locations.

The settlement agreement between Giuffre and Epstein apparently “related to a Florida state case” that didn't involve the British royal, and brought to an end a case between her and the now-deceased billionaire convicted sex offender. Giuffre recently launched a legal case against Prince Andrew, alleging Epstein recruited her before she was abused by the Duke of York numerous times in 2001, when she was 17.

Court documents show that Judge Loretta Preska agreed to provide the Duke of York’s legal representatives with the 2009 settlement deal after Giuffre’s lawyer said they were willing to share it after receiving permission from the Epstein estate, adding that it was “irrelevant to the case.”

The 2009 agreement between Giuffre and Epstein, which has remained confidential after being sealed by a court, has been the subject of debate between the duke’s legal team and his accuser’s representatives.

Prince Andrew’s lawyers have said her case is baseless, as the 2009 agreement prohibited her from suing anyone connected to Epstein, releasing “the duke and others from any and all potential liability.” Giuffre’s team refute this but, to allow the case to proceed, they accepted that the duke's legal team had "a right to review the release and to make whatever arguments they believe appropriate based on it.”

Giuffre is currently suing the Duke of York over allegations that he sexually assaulted her on numerous occasions when she was a teenager, something he has repeatedly denied, including in an infamous BBC Panorama interview before he retreated from public life.

The prince has fervently denied the substance of the charges, insisting he never met her, despite a well-known photograph that has circulated in the media showing him with his arm around a 17-year-old Giuffre (Roberts, at that time), with alleged Epstein madam Ghislaine Maxwell in the background.

Giuffre, like most of Epstein’s victims, has claimed it was Maxwell who recruited her as part of the now-deceased pedophile’s harem of teenage ‘sex slaves’, to be flown around on private planes and lent out to his famous and influential friends, allegedly for blackmail purposes. The case against the prince alleges he assaulted Giuffre in three locations, including New York City and the London home of Ghislaine Maxwell.

The Epstein victim filed a suit against Prince Andrew in August, alleging sexual assault, battery and emotional distress. The Duke of York is currently facing an October 29 deadline to formally respond to the lawsuit. Giuffre is seeking unspecified damages against the senior royal.

Pennsylvania’s James Bognet Worked For Mitt Romney, John McCain, Democrat Lobbying Firm

What do Mitt Romney, George H.W. Bush, John McCain, and Arnold Schwarzenegger have in common?

As the race for the 8th Congressional District in Pennsylvania heats up, there is much speculation that Republican James Bognet may step into the ring once again. While Bognet touts himself as a pro-Trump, America First candidate, he has a history of associating with staunch anti-Trumpers like Mitt Romney, John McCain, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and George H.W. Bush.

With only one Republican, Teddy Daniels, currently running for a chance for the U.S. House, rumors that Republican James Bognet may announce his candidacy once more are circulating. In the 2020 Congressional Race, Bognet secured an endorsement from President Donald Trump. Though the 45th President endorsed the 7th District’s Lisa Scheller during the 7th Congressional Primary, he Bognet’s endorsement came during the general election.

The President appeared to have reservations about endorsing Bognet in 2020, and that may be in-part due to his history of associating with popular anti-Trump figures before running for Congress in Pennsylvania. (READ MORE: Cindy McCain On Epstein: ‘We All Knew What He Was Doing’)

Bognet, a former staffer for now anti-Trump Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT), had previously served as the Vice President of a Democrat founded lobbying firm – the Glover Park Group in 2016. As National File reported in May, 2020, Bognet is an establishment insider who served a leading role on Romney’s failed 2012 presidential bid – and did not vote in the 2016 Presidential Election.

Back in 2003, Bognet helped launch anti-Trump Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s political career. He served as his campaign policy director in 2006, and continued working chief positions in the administration during his term. After that, Bognet worked as an economics advisor to Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign. When Romney ultimately dropped out of the race, Bognet started working for anti-Trump John McCain’s Presidential campaign as a communications adviser.

Finland Follows Sweden and Denmark in Halting Use of Moderna Vaccine for Younger Age Group

Finish health authorities have paused the use of Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine on Oct. 7 for men under the age of 30, just one day after Sweden and Denmark announced a similar measure due to side effects.

Mika Salminen, head of the Finnish health institute, said the Nordic country would instead give the Pfizer vaccine to men born in 1991 and later. Health officials said the decision was taken due to reports of a rare cardiovascular side effect.

“A Nordic study involving Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark found that men under the age of 30 who received Moderna Spikevax had a slightly higher risk than others of developing myocarditis,” Salminen said.

Swedish health officials on Oct. 6 also halted the use of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for younger people and children after reports of possible side effects including myocarditis. Danish officials announced that it will halt the shot for those under the age of 18 due to similar concerns.

According to a statement from the Swedish health agency that was translated from Swedish to English, there is “an increased risk of side effects such as inflammation of the heart muscle or heart sac,” although the agency noted that the risk is “very small.”

“The connection is especially clear when it comes to Moderna’s vaccine Spikevax, especially after the second dose,” the health agency said.

Severe cases of myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle, can lead to heart failure or even sudden death. Symptoms of the infection can include chest pain, rapid or abnormal heart rhythms, and shortness of breath.

A Moderna spokesperson had said after Sweden and Denmark’s Oct. 6 announcement that the company was made aware of the decisions by the country’s regulators.

“These are typically mild cases and individuals tend to recover within a short time following standard treatment and rest,” the spokesperson for the U.S.-based pharmaceutical company said, adding that unvaccinated people are still at a higher risk of getting myocarditis from COVID-19 than those who are vaccinated.

The Nordic countries based the decision on an unpublished research study that included data from Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. Officials said the research will be published within a couple of weeks and preliminary data had been sent to the European Medicines Agency (EMA) for further assessment.

In July, EMA, the European Union’s chief drug regulator, recommended authorizing Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 12 to 17. It came months after the Moderna vaccine was given approval for use in anyone aged 18 and older across the 27-nation bloc in January.

Both U.S. and European regulators have cautioned that the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines, which use mRNA technology, are linked to chest pain and heart inflammation in young people and children, although those agencies have frequently said those reactions are rare.

SEC Sued over Nasdaq’s ‘Diversity’ Rule for Race, Gender, LGBTQ Quotas on Boards

The National Center for Public Policy Research, a conservative think tank advocating free market policies, sued the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Tuesday after it approved the Nasdaq’s controversial “diversity” rule.

As the Associated Press reported recently:

The new policy — the first of its kind for a U.S. securities exchange — requires most of the nearly 3,000 companies listed on Nasdaq to have at least one woman on their board of directors, along with one person from a racial minority or who identifies as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or queer. It also requires companies to publicly disclose statistics on the demographic composition of their boards.

…

Nasdaq-listed companies with five or fewer board members, however, will only be required have one diverse member.

…

Companies that don’t meet the diversity criteria will not be delisted but must publicly explain why they could not comply.

The policy attempts to avoid the problem of racial, gender, and sexual quotas — which are often illegal — by allowing companies that don’t comply with the policy to write a report explaining why they have failed or refused to do so. Critics contend that the “comply or report” approach is the same as a hard quota, since few companies will want to risk the public cost of opposing the policy or admitting they have not complied with it.

Nevertheless, in August, the SEC approved the policy, leading to several lawsuits, including Monday’s legal challenge. The National Center for Public Policy Research issued a press statement explaining the reasoning for its lawsuit:

The National Center, represented by the New Civil Liberties Alliance (NCLA), argues that the SEC lacks the authority to establish such quotas. The SEC’s regulatory authority, established by the 1934 Securities and Exchange Act, is limited to regulation of securities to ensure honest markets and to enforce federal laws that punish fraud. The lawsuit asserts that approving market rules establishing quotas for boards of directors exceeds that limited authority.

“The SEC has grown increasingly politicized in recent years, and especially since the arrival of Chairman Gary Gensler,” said Scott Shepard, Director of the National Center’s Free Enterprise Project. “It has a narrowly circumscribed authority: that of protecting shareholders in limited ways. In no way does this extend to social engineering of the sort attempted by the Nasdaq rule. It was thus illegitimate for the SEC to approve the rule. The approval was especially appalling because the rule in effect requires companies to either subordinate merit to illegal race-, sex- and orientation-based discrimination, or open themselves to the howling left-wing mob.”

The lawsuit notes that the Nasdaq’s new rules allow people who simply “self-identify” as female, black, or queer, to qualify.

California is the only state thus far to have mandated diversity quotas on corporate boards above a minimum size. However, the state’s liberal voters last year rejected Proposition 16, which would have overturned Proposition 209, which bars the state from using racial preferences or affirmative action policies in contracts, hiring, or admissions to the state’s university system.

Corrupt Pro-Open Borders Politician Fails to Win Single Seat in Regional Election

Former Italian Mayor Domenico “Mimmo” Lucano has failed to win a seat in the Calabria regional election days after he was sentenced to 13 years in prison for aiding illegal migration and fraud.

Mr Lucano presented the electoral candidate list “Another Calabria is Possible” in the regional elections held on Monday, but failed to win a single seat as the candidate list was polled at just 2.3 per cent, well below the four per cent threshold to win seats in the regional chamber.

According to a report from the newspaper Il Giornale, Lucano received 9,779 personal preferences (votes for Lucano himself) and 18,000 votes for his electoral list, just 150 of which came from Riace, the town where he served as mayor and grew infamous for his aggressively pro-migrant policies.

The poor results come just days after the court of Locri found Lucano guilty of several charges including aiding illegal immigration, state fraud, embezzlement, and abuse of office and sentencing him to 13 years and two months in prison.

The court also ordered Lucano to pay back €500,000 (£427,588/$579,698) of cash that had been entrusted to him by the Italian government and the European Union, though he was alleged to have misused as much as €5 million (£4.28 million/$5.8 million) by prosecutors.

Following the verdict and sentencing, pro-migrant NGOs defended Lucano, including Luca Casarini, who himself had been under investigation for aiding illegal migration in 2019 while heading the migrant taxi NGO Mediterranea Saving Humans.

Father Alex Zanotelli, a well-known pro-mass migration priest who once called populist Matteo Salvini the “antichrist” when Salvini served as Interior Minister and greatly reduced arrivals of illegal migrants, also joined the protest against the Lucano verdict, stating he would go on a hunger strike in response.

“I cried listening to the obscene sentence, which is usually reserved for murderers, mobsters, drug traffickers. This is a political process,” Zantonelli said and added that Lucano was simply guilty of the “crime of humanity.”

Despite the publicity and protests in support of Lucano, including one in Riace itself, voters were highly reluctant to support the convicted former mayor and instead voted for the centre-right coalition under Roberto Occhiuto, who won 54.6 per cent of the vote.

Ontario doctor resigns over forced vaccines, says 80% of ER patients with mysterious issues had both shots

Dr. RochagnĂŠ Kilian asked a hospital system CEO some tough questions about unethical behaviour and he deferred to the government.

Dr. RochagnĂŠ Kilian recently resigned as an emergency room and family practice physician due to her concerns that the Ontario health system and Grey Bruce Health Services (GBHS) crossed ethical lines throughout the pandemic.

In a virtual meeting that included GBHS CEO Gary Sims and other staff members, Dr. Kilian asked Sims a series of questions about what she believes is unethical behaviour on behalf of the Ontario health system at all levels. Sims appeared to be unprepared for difficult questions pertaining to the ongoing rollout of vaccination mandates and vaccine segregation restrictions the Ontario heath system is championing.

Kilian estimated that 80 percent of the patients she saw in the ER during the past month who had inexplicable symptoms were “double vaxxed.”

Dr. Kilian relocated to Owen Sound – a small city in Grey County, Ontario – from South Africa after previously working in British Columbia. When she resettled in Owen Sound with her family, she expressed to a local paper how happy she was to live there: “Our recruitment to Owen Sound might have been by chance, but our choice to settle here was definitely not. Our four months in Owen Sound have been blessed. A little town with lots of soul, surrounded by beautiful landscapes, filled with welcoming residents and businesses, and exciting festivals, programs and activities. We truly feel fortunate to raise a family here.”

The first issue that Dr. Kilian brought up during the meeting was informed consent regarding the COVID jab and what she considered to be a coercive mentality of pressuring people to accept medications that she pointed out are still in “clinical trials.”

An GBHS administrator did not answer her question directly, but instead passed the buck to the provincial government and stated they do not have “oversight or input” regarding consent mechanisms presented to patients.

Kilian added that having more input into what patients are consenting to is something that GBHS “should consider,” especially in light of enacting the government-recommended vaccination mandates with their own staff.

Referring to informed consent and mandating experimental vaccines that been linked to thousands of deaths and injuries, Sims explained that because of the “pandemic,” certain procedural normalities will not take place.

How AT&T helped build far-right One America News

As it lauded former President Donald Trump and spread his unfounded claims of election fraud, One America News Network saw its viewership jump. Reuters has uncovered how America’s telecom giant nurtured the news channel now at the center of a bitter national divide over politics and truth.

One America News, the far-right network whose fortunes and viewership rose amid the triumph and tumult of the Trump administration, has flourished with support from a surprising source: AT&T Inc, the world's largest communications company.

A Reuters review of court records shows the role AT&T played in creating and funding OAN, a network that continues to spread conspiracy theories about the 2020 election and the COVID-19 pandemic.

OAN founder and chief executive Robert Herring Sr has testified that the inspiration to launch OAN in 2013 came from AT&T executives.

“They told us they wanted a conservative network,” Herring said during a 2019 deposition seen by Reuters. “They only had one, which was Fox News, and they had seven others on the other [leftwing] side. When they said that, I jumped to it and built one.”

Since then, AT&T has been a crucial source of funds flowing into OAN, providing tens of millions of dollars in revenue, court records show. Ninety percent of OAN’s revenue came from a contract with AT&T-owned television platforms, including satellite broadcaster DirecTV, according to 2020 sworn testimony by an OAN accountant.

Herring has testified he was offered $250 million for OAN in 2019. Without the DirecTV deal, the accountant said under oath, the network’s value “would be zero.”

Priest is absolved of raping altar boy in first sexual abuse trial heard by Pope's criminal court - hours after Francis expressed 'shame' over French Catholic Church abuse cases

A Vatican tribunal absolved a priest of charges that he raped an altar boy in the Vatican's youth seminary, in the first clergy sexual abuse tribal to be heard by the Pope's criminal court.

Father Gabriele Martinelli, now 29, was accused of repeatedly raping the boy, identified only as LG, while they were altar boys and mostly when they were both minors between 2006 and 2012.

Meanwhile, Father Enrico Radice, 72, who was the former rector of the youth seminary, was accused of covering up the attacks.

But a three-judge panel acquitted Martinelli of some charges and ruled others couldn't be punished or allegedly occurred too long ago. Radice was similarly absolved.

The ruling came just hours after Pope Francis expressed his personal shame at the scale of child abuse carried out by clergy in France's Catholic Church that saw attacks on 330,000 children.

The pontiff told of his 'sadness' for the victims after a damning report found nuns used crucifixes to rape girls during decades of abuse which was covered up by a 'veil of silence'.

In a statement, the tribunal said it had essentially confirmed that there had been a sexual relationship between Martinelli and the alleged victim, L.G., but no proof that L.G., who was just seven months younger, had been forced into it.

The case concerned the closed world of the St. Pius X youth seminary, a palazzo inside the Vatican walls just across the street from where Pope Francis lives. The seminary is used as a residence for boys aged 12 to 18, who serve as altar boys at papal Masses in St. Peter´s Basilica, and are thinking of becoming priests.

Martinelli, for whom the prosecution had sought a six-year custodial sentence, later went on to become a priest and the prosecution said Radice did not block the ordination even though he knew about the abuse.

Martinelli was charged with allegedly forcing LG 'to undergo carnal acts, acts of sodomy, masturbation on himself and on the boy, at different times and in different places inside Vatican City'.

The alleged abuse began when LG was 13, and Martinelli continued the abuse of LG for about a year after he turned 18, the prosecution said.

During his testimony in March this year, LG said Martinelli first began molesting him a few months after he arrived in the seminary in 2006 as a 13-year-old from a small town in northern Italy. He testified it was his first sexual experience, and that it was a 'shock' that he didn't understand and that he felt 'paralyzed.'

'Martinelli would slip into my bed at night,' he testified. 'For me it was a very strange thing: I was young and I had never entered into the world of sexuality. At home or in my town, I had never heard of sex. I felt a sense of confusion, I didn't understand what was happening.'

VA Dems Ask Northam to Waive Absentee Ballot Witness Signature Requirements As Governor’s Race Tightens – Citing Covid Dangers

Democrats can’t win unless they cheat.

Virginia Democrats are now asking Governor Ralph Northam to waive absentee ballot witness signature requirements ahead of the gubernatorial race, citing Covid dangers.

The race between Democrat Terry McAuliffe and Republican Glenn Youngkin is close and the Democrats know they have a real chance of losing so they are once again using Covid as a vehicle to cheat just like they did in 2020.

Terry McAuliffe earlier this week said the quiet part out loud and admitted Joe Biden is unpopular during a zoom call.

“We gotta get Democrats out to vote. We are facing a lot of headwinds from Washington as you know. The president is unpopular today unfortunately here in Virginia, so we have got to follow through,” Terry McAuliffe said.

The governor’s race is tight so the Democrats are working to waive signature requirements.

InsideNoVa.com reported:

The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors is asking Gov. Ralph Northam to waive the witness signature requirement for absentee ballots cast by mail in this fall’s election.

The board voted 9-1 for the proposal by Chair Jeffrey McKay to send a letter to Northam, with Springfield District Supervisor Pat Herrity, the board’s only Republican, casting the only vote against the motion.

McKay said that waiving the witness signature requirement – as was done during the 2020 election – is necessary due to the continued threat of COVID-19. He said several Fairfax residents had shared concerns with him about obtaining witness signatures – arguing they could be exposed to COVID-19 in the process.

“No one should have their ballot rejected because they’re unwilling to risk their health and safety to vote,” McKay said during the meeting. “We want to be a county that promotes voter participation and doesn’t punish people.”

Herrity said that waiving the requirement would be a “blow to election integrity.”

“Witness signatures are important as they provide another line of defense against voter fraud,” he added. “They’ve been deemed important enough by the General Assembly that they were reestablished outside the state of emergency.”

Unvaccinated Canadians Can’t Travel, Lose Government Benefits

After managing to preserve Canada’s political status quo during last month’s “snap” federal election, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has decided to use whatever political capital he gained from the experience to finally roll out his government’s vaccine mandate, which resembles that of its southern neighbor while going a step further in some important respects.

In part to try and jump-start stalled vaccination rates, Trudeau and his government are demanding that all public servants either get vaccinated, or face unpaid leave. This includes all federal workers “in the core public administration” and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Federal contractors including cleaning staff must be vaccinated to gain access to government buildings. The government is also asking all employees in federally regulated air, rail and marine transportation sectors must establish vaccination policies for their employees that effectively require vaccination.

What’s more, after Oct. 30, all travelers boarding planes, trains or any marine vessels will be required to have their shots. The above-mentioned workers have a few weeks to apply for exemptions – either religious or medical – but, otherwise, they will be forced to choose between the jab, or losing their job. This travel mandate also applies to everyone over the age of 12.

Per the statement, “travelers will be responsible for declaring their vaccination status and providing documentation prior to boarding.”

Until Nov. 30, some exceptions will be made: “For travellers who are in the process of being vaccinated, there will be a short transition period where they will be able to travel if they can show a valid COVID-19 molecular test within 72 hours of travel.”

But anybody hoping to use public transit this holiday season will need to get the jabs. Any Canadians who aren’t comfortable with the vaccine won’t be able to fly to visit relatives who live outside driving distance (and they wouldn’t be allowed in the US, leaving them effectively trapped in the country).

Circling back to the restrictions for federal workers and contractors, the unvaccinated won’t even be permitted to work from home. Unvaccinated employees will be barred from going to work, either in person or remotely, and they will be put on administrative leave and denied pay, according to the CBC.

A senior official told the CBC that unvaxxed employees wouldn’t even qualify for employment insurance benefits.

Trudeau bragged in a statement that Canada’s restrictions on travel for the unvaccinated are some of the strongest in the world.

“These travel measures, along with mandatory vaccination for federal employees, are some of the strongest in the world because when it comes to keeping you and your family safe, when it comes to avoiding lockdowns for everyone, this is no time for half measures,” Trudeau said.

“If you’ve done the right thing and gotten vaccinated, you deserve the freedom to be safe from COVID. To have your kids be safe from COVID. To get back to the things you love.”

Trudeau is undoubtedly correct about Canada having some of the most stringent restrictions on travel, and the country also has some of the most stringent restrictions on travel for the unvaccinated. But for the employment mandate, at least, Trudeau has settled on kafkaesque mechanism for enforcement.

Employees will be required to sign an “attestation” form giving their word that they have been vaccinated. Anybody who signs the form can at any time have their vaccine status “audited” by their managers, who will then seek proof of vaccination.

Pandora Papers: Arnon Milchan hiding half a billion dollars offshore

Milchan, who allegedly gave Netanyahu gifts in exchange for pushing tax exemption legislation, is among the 565 Israelis reportedly named in the Pandora Papers

Arnon Milchan, an Israeli Hollywood mogul who is a key witness in former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s corruption trial, has more than half a billion dollars in offshore companies, according to a new investigative report.

Milchan is among the 565 Israelis reportedly named in the Pandora Papers, a massive trove of leaked documents about financial secrecy in global tax havens that was published by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists this week.

Shomrim, an Israeli investigative journalism nonprofit organization that took part in the investigation, said that Milchan’s name appears numerous times in the documents, which reveal that he is listed as the ultimate beneficiary of seven companies in the Virgin Islands.

One of the charges in the indictment of Netanyahu is that he allegedly received extensive gifts from Milchan in exchange for a series of favors — that included working to extend a little-known tax exemption law that would benefit the Hollywood producer.

New lawsuit cries corruption in Biden's EPA

Lawsuit alleges Biden admin has unfairly stacked EPA committees with like-minded scientists

FIRST ON FOX: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) was slapped with a lawsuit Thursday by a former Trump-era advisory member, alleging the Biden administration’s "purge" of industry representatives violates federal law.

In March, EPA Administrator Michael Regan removed more than 40 members from the Science Advisory Board (SAB) and seven members from the Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee (CASAC) in a move he argued would rid the committees of industry influence and restore science-based advisers.

But the suit, launched by Jones Day law firm on behalf of Stanley Young – who served on the SAB during the Trump administration – has argued stacking the advisory roles with like-minded scientists sympathetic to White House policies is a step too far.

"The committees are now unfairly balanced – both in terms of points of view and the functions the committees are required to perform – because they lack a single member affiliated with regulated industries," the suit read.

According to court filings obtained by Fox News, Young v. EPA contends that in removing all industry-focused officials, Regan violated the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA).

FACA was enacted in 1972 to ensure advice provided by committees is "objective" and accessible by the public.

But the suit alleges that two leading principles of FACA have been violated in the sweeping purge of regulated industry representatives.

According to the suit, FACA is intended to ensure members' viewpoints are "fairly balanced" and that the advice of the committees is not "inappropriately influenced by the appointing authority" but rather independently judged by the advisers.

Under the Trump administration, former EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt removed groups of scientists from the EPA’s advisory committees and filled the roles with industry-based representatives.

It was estimated he tripled the number of industry and consulting firm scientists on the SBA alone, and reduced the number of academic scientists by half, the Washington Post reported in 2017.

But Young v. EPA has alleged that a balance of consultants from universities, nonprofits and regulated industries was represented on the committees.

"In its haste to eliminate all traces of industry from its advisory committees, EPA ran roughshod over FACA and its obligation to engage in reasoned decision-making," the filings read.

Ex UK Secret Intelligence Service chief: Hunter Biden should've 'run a mile' from Burisma job offer

Sir Richard Dearlove made the comment on the "One Decision" podcast aired Thursday

The former chief of MI6 – the United Kingdom's Secret Intelligence Service – says presidential son Hunter Biden accepting a board post with the Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings made his father "potentially vulnerable."

Ex-spy boss Sir Richard Dearlove made the comment in a podcast released Thursday, according to the Daily Mail.

Hunter Biden took the high-paying job while father President Joe Biden was vice president, which raised questions – especially during the 2020 presidential campaign – about whether the son was hired for his potential to influence his father and more largely U.S. foreign policy in Ukraine.

Dearlove also said on the "One Decision" podcast the Bidens should have "run a mile" from the offer of a job when made in roughly 2014.

When asked whether the controversy around former President Trump's engagement with Ukraine had overshadowed the Biden family's Ukraine connections, Dearlove responded: "I think Biden and Biden's son were incredibly unwise."

Dearlove, who host the podcast with former CNN journalist Michelle Kosinski, also said, "We don't actually know a lot, but I mean the idea that Ukraine ring up and offer you a job and you know offer you some board position, which Hunter had, I mean God he should have run a mile. … He shouldn't have been anywhere near it."

During Testimony Maricopa County Officials Admit to Deleting 2020 Election Data to Avoid Audit Subpoena

Earlier today during a House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing on the Arizona vote outcome representative Andy Biggs (R-AZ) questioned Maricopa County officials about their deletion of 2020 election data in order to avoid a state senate subpoena for election records.

Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Chairman Jack Sellers and the boards vice chairman, Bill Gates, admitted they intentionally deleted election data to route it onto an archive file. The archives of the county records were not subpoenaed, that way the county could avoid sending the full 2020 election data to the auditors.

Is Joe Biden Flying To Wilmington Nearly Every Weekend To Dodge Visitor Logs?

It is no secret that President Joe Biden makes frequent trips to his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware, but is he doing it to dodge White House visitor logs?

For the umpteenth time since Biden took office, Temporary Flight Restrictions are gracing the area around the president’s beloved city this weekend as he prepares yet another retreat on Air Force One back to his customized home in Wilmington.

Biden is far from being the president that has spent the most time away from the White House, but travel records indicate that he does have an affinity for regularly picking up to leave the Swamp on Fridays. During his first 29 weekends in office, the president was in Wilmington for 14 weekends and Camp David in Maryland for eight weekends.

These trips to Delaware from Washington DC usually begin on Fridays and often extend into Monday mornings and are usually facilitated by “a minimal number of staffers.”

Biden’s travel isn’t necessarily kept a secret, but the reason for his habitual flight up and down part of the East Coast still remains a mystery.

Multiple corporate news outlets have caught onto Biden’s frequent trips but have downplayed the extra travel as a normal release for the elderly president. These media companies, (yes, the same ones that threw fits when Trump would vacation away from the White House), have chalked the weekend trips up to Biden wanting to spend more time with his tight-knit family and away from what he calls the “gilded cage.” They even pointed to his frequent train trips home while he was a senator.

Even when the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention claimed that non-essential travel during the COVID-19 pandemic should be limited, the White House justified Biden’s trips home as necessary.

“The President lives in Wilmington; it’s his home. That’s where he’s lived for many, many years,” White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said in March. “As any President of the United States does, he takes a private airplane called Air Force One to travel there. That is, of course, unique from most Americans, but I think most Americans would also see that as a unique circumstance.”

It’s easy to speculate on why Biden is leaving so much. After all, it’s abundantly clear that the president’s health has suffered over the last year. Last November, the then-president-elect slipped and fractured his foot while teasing his dog, Major. Some of Biden’s trips during his first weeks in the White House were to visit his Delaware orthopedist. The president also reportedly justified staying away during the Afghanistan collapse because he wasn’t “sleeping well.”
